Chapter 97: Chapter 91 - Shirogane Miyuki is happy.
Chapter 91
A week has passed since I purchased a mansion. The mansion's cleaning phase before it ready to live in was also smoothly progressed. Right now, we're only waiting for the times it completed. Natsuki also has started to look for Maids for our grand mansion.
She told me she already found some good maids for the mansion but, she lacks the most important thing which is the head maid. Seems like she still has not found the perfect maid that can rival Jii's skill.
The summer vacation has ended, and it's been three days since the school has started. There are some changes that happened in the school after the summer vacation.
The first is obviously Kaguya and Ai-chan. Both of them no longer conceal their friendly or sisterly relationship as it's not needed anymore. Ai-chan also stopped displaying a fake expression she always had in the school.
Initially, her friends became surprised about her change. But after a day they accepted it thinking maybe it's the result of a broken heart which actually the opposite of that.
Other students also noticed a huge change in Kaguya. Although she always displayed a courteous smile to everyone whenever they're talking, nowadays her expression was full of happiness. Rumor said some students saw an aura of happiness coming out whenever she smiles.
Next is Chika-chan. She doesn't have any drastic changes like Kaguya and Ai-chan but recently she seemed absent-minded while thinking about something. Well, she stills the bubbly girl that we knew but, it just weirds seeing her like that even though it just a few times.
Something also changed with Natsuki-chan. Natsuki's expression was more radiant than before, and other students often saw her smiling delightedly. Honestly, it made me very happy that she believed me to carry her burden together with her.
About the last change, it's actually about Miyuki-chan. I haven't asked him what happen at that time when he was alone with Maki when they look out our spot together. The only thing I know is, he seemed very happy since school started.
Unfortunately, I haven't been able to ask since I was quite busy. The thing is, there is one regular event that held once a year and I was preparing for that even. That event is Sports Day which held on October 8th.
Although it stills a month before the event itself started, the student council needs to prepare many things for that event.
But looks like I got time to inquire about what happens to Miyuki-chan and Maki at the summer festival. Because right now, I was sitting on the sofa at The Student Council's room with Ishigami and Miyuki-chan sit in front of me.
We're discussing some rules of the sports day, and money related things which are why Ishigami was here. As the discussion ended, I told Miyuki that I want to ask something which made him quite nervous as if he already knew what I wanted to ask.
"Hehe, you can't run, Miyuki-chan. Tell us what happens to you and Shijou-chan at the festival. Don't worry, only us guys are here, right Yuu?" I smirked and said.
"Yes, president! I wanted to know about that too." Ishigami grinned and said.
"*Sigh* Fine... But please don't say this to anyone..." Miyuki sighed and said.
"Why should I? Well maybe depend on the content." I said with a smirk.
"Izumi-senpai, Miyuki-senpai must have confessed to Shijou-senpai looking at his happy expression." Ishigami laughingly said.
"I guessed like that too. But, I don't think that's the case. Knowing this guy's personality, it must be something else." I casually said.
"Hahaha, that's true." Ishigami laughed.
"Oi, you two... I am here, you know... And don't laugh at me when you don't have a girlfriend, Yuu." Miyuki retorted.
"Ugh... You just added some wounds in my heart Miyuki-senpai... I also want a girlfriend..." Ishigami touched his heart and painfully said.
"Well, what happen between you two?" I tilted my head and asked while ignoring Ishigami who mumbling something.
"Hehe...Actually, I held her hand in the festival..." Miyuki grinned and said.
"..."
"..."
Ishigami and I cannot say anything when we heard the innocent sentence he just made. Ishigami looked at Miyuki with pity while I imagined the laugh of everyone if they overheard about this.
"Miyuki-chan... Besides that, did you two talk about something when waiting for us?" I asked while looking at him with pity.
"Hmm? Ah, we're just talking about how she was excited about this year's culture festival, and we made a promise to go buy some necessity for the Disciplinary Committee room." Miyuki said after thinking for a bit.
"You should be happy with that one, senpai! Why the heck you be happy because you held her hand in the crowded summer festival. I know you just held her hand to not get separated, right?" Ishigami desperately said.
"I do think that going to buy necessities can be counted as a date. Moreover, I know she is the one who suggested it. There is no way you can do that." I nodded and said.
"There is no way she asked the president of the disciplinary committee to buy necessities while she can just instruct other members to do that," Ishigami added.
"Come to think of it, that's true! W-w-w-what should I do?" Miyuki frantically asked after realizing Maki's invitation. Hearing Miyuki's panicked tone, Ishigami and I looked at each other and sighed.
"Just be yourself, Idiot. I am sure Shijou-chan knows your personality very well." I casually said.
"Agreed, being yourself is the best. Don't try to become someone, because if your partner likes you who imitate someone else, it means she likes the fake you. And in the end, your relationship won't long last." Ishigami wisely said.
"...I don't know you can give that kind of advice, Yuu." Miyuki widened his eyes and said.
"Hehe... You might don't know this, but he was already like this when I found him." I smiled and said.
"Can I take that as praise, Izumi-senpai?" Ishigami asked.
"Of course. I also think being yourself is the best. Anyway, how about confessing to her?" I nodded and suggested.
"Actually... I already planned to confess at the culture festival..." Miyuki caressed the back of his head and embarrassedly said.
"Woooooooooooooo!" Ishgami and I shouted joyfully when we heard his plan.
"You guys are too exaggerated!" Miyuki retorted.
"I mean, this is you we're talking about! The one who always went to the boy's toilet and shouted anything that made you happy after school! Of course, I will be excited!" I said.
"Indeed, it's you who became happy for a week after holding a girl's hand just to not get separated in summer festival!" Ishigami added merrily.
"Oi! H-how did you know about that, Izumi...." Miyuki's face paled and asked.
"It's become one of the four mysteries of Shuuchiin Academy High School Division, you know?" I laughingly said.
"Yes. Fortunately for you, only us, the student council knew about your identity." Ishigami nodded and said.
"Does that mean... Kaori-san, Shinomiya-san, Fujiwara-san, and Kotegawa-san knew about it too...?" Miyuki asked.
"Yes." Ishigami and I nodded simultaneously.
"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" Miyuki shouted with his face flushed because of embarrassment.
"Hahahaha" Ishigami and I laughed looking at Miyuki's misery.

When I was about to sleep, someone called me, and it was Natsuki-chan.
"What's up, Natsuki-chan? Did you miss me?" I jokingly said.
"We meet every day in school, you know. But indeed...I wanted to hear your voice..." Natsuki sweetly said.
"...Fine, you win. Even though I know you said it on purpose." I said.
"Hehe... Anyway, we found the child that survived the first experiment. And I want to visit her, do you want to come?" Natsuki giggled and asked.
"Her? So it's a girl, huh...Well okay, I will go with you. When is it?" I asked.
"It's tomorrow. And don't worry I already tell your homeroom teacher about your absence," Natsuki said.
"As expected of my cute assistant, you know me so well. Oh, and where is the place?" I asked again.
"She is in Tokyo."
