Greetings poured in from various guests who attended the party, and his cheeks already hurt from grinning too much. While his sunken mood alleviated with the appearance of his close friends, he couldn't help but to keep throwing worried glances at Johan, who had gone silent since he settled between him and Aaron, drowning himself with ice cream.

From under the monobloc table, Adrian placed a hand on Johan's knee and sent him a silent question with his eyes. The response he got was Johan grasping his knuckles tightly, gripping, squeezing, as if he was seeking comfort in that small contact they shared. If it's up to him, he would pull Johan to his room and give him all the comfort he could provide.
