Chapter 8: Lance
- Bree, how do you know Lance? Asked one of the office girls who had already become one of his fans.
Needless to say that Lance was a really good looking guy. You couldn't take your eyes from him even for a second. He can mesmerize you just like that since Lance had the appearance of the male lead in a comic book. So it was no wonder that the office girls would be like school girls around him.
- We were classmates since first grade till university.
- True. But we known each other since we were babies.
- Babies? Bree you've never told me about this. Irene said.
- Well, I've never imagined that I'll see him again after such a long time. More exactly that he'll end up hired by you. Besides he was really annoying then.
- Me? Annoying? How does me, drawing your face on your desk everyday is annoying? You don't know anything about art. Said Lance with sorrow on his face.
- Annoying is little to be said. The teachers wouldn't even punish me or even letting me erase the drawings during class saying it was the best drawing they saw. I could only do it after the school was over.
- Bree, you should be glad that I only did that... Lance said that with a wicked smile on his face.
- Well, both of you can go thru the memory lane after work. Since both of you know each other I don't care if you keep fighting one with the other as long you are doing your work. Bree, don't forget that chef Leonardo is leaving next month so his book should be your top priority now. Irene said to both Lance and Bree.
- And, Bree since after what happen at the TV station I want you to have less contact to chef Leonardo. So let Lance deal more with him.
- Are you doing this because you think that I'll distract chef Leonardo from is work?
- No, dear. I'm afraid you'll get distracted instead...
