Chapter 12: I Went Swimming On Sunday
Chapter 12
I flopped over in my bed, its Sunday and I have nothing to do, I sighed.
I went over to my bookshelf, looking for books I haven't read yet, there were none, sigh.
I went for a walk, ding, I took my phone out of my pocket, I looked at the message, it was from Shane.
Texting:
Shane: Hey man, want to come over to my house? Mark is here, too.
Me: Sure, dude. Where is ur house?
Shane: The address is XXXXXXXXXXXXX, see ya there, oh and bring swim trunks.
Me: Be there in 30.
Not texting:
I walked back home, to tell Adam where I was going and that I needed a ride there.
I walked into the apartment, "Hey Adam, I'm going to Shane's house, can you ask Thomas to give me a ride?"
Adam nodded, "Sure, text me when you want to come back, I'm going to spend the day with my friends, Thomas will be here in 3 minutes, see you later, Avery."
I said, "See you later Adam."
I grabbed my swim trunks and a swimming shirt and walked out of the apartment, right when I made it out of the apartment complex, Thomas had already arrived.
I waved at him, "Hey, Thomas."
Thomas smiled, "Hello, Miss, where too?"
I gave him the address, "Thank you, Thomas."
Thomas nodded, "It's my job, Miss."
"Thank you anyway, Thomas," I said to him.
It took 15 minutes to get there.
I got out of the car, "Bye Thomas, thank you."
Thomas nodded, "Goodbye, Miss."
I walked up to the door, knocking twice.
Shane opened the door, "Hey, man, you got your trunks?"
I nodded, "Hey Shane, yeah I got my trunks, can I go put them on somewhere?"
Shane pointed toward the stairs, "Bathroom is on the 3rd door to the right. I'll be here when you come out."
I hurried to the bathroom, shrugging out of my clothes, I put on the trunks and shirt.
When I finished getting dressed, Shane was waiting for me, "Hurry up, dude. Let's get to the pool."
I hurried after him. He was texting on his phone.
He looked up, "Oh, yeah, William will be here in a few minutes." He slid open the glass door, "And here is the backyard. The pool is this way."
His backyard was huge when we finally made it to the pool we had walked for 5 minutes and we weren't going slow, we were speed walking.
We stopped right next to the pool, then suddenly I was falling forward, SPLASH, I had been pushed into the pool by Shane, I swam back up gasping.
Shane was howling with laughter. I glared at him, he smirked.
Mark swam up to me, "Hey, you okay, Adam?"
I coughed a little, "Yeah, I'm fine." Glaring at Shane.
Shane's smirk grew wider, "Sorry man, I had to see how you would react, pfffttt, hahaha."
I got out of the water, I smacked Shane's arm, glaring, "Mean!"
Shane rubbed his arm, glaring, "Dude, you act like a girl sometimes, also, what is with your shirt? It's not very sunny today. Take it off."
I shook my head, "NO! Uhhh, I mean, no thanks, I'm going to keep it on, he-he-he." Sweat, sweat. Uh-oh.
Shane narrowed his eyes, lunging forward he tried to grab my shirt, I jumped out of the way, then he lunged for it again, this time I didn't move out of the way in time, he tripped and fell onto of me, "Ooof, ow."
I was being squashed by a giant, "Shane, get off, your heavy. Get your fat butt off me!"
My shirt forgotten. Shane stared down at me, "Fat butt?" Then he moved so that he was sitting directly on top of me.
I wheezed, "Get off or I'm going to die under your fat ass!"
I tried to knee him, he grabbed my legs and pinned them down.
I wriggled around underneath him trying to free one of my arms, Shane squeezed them to my side tighter, using his thighs, I pinched him as hard as I could.
Shane grunted, "Ow! Crap, that's going to bruise."
I yelled, "GET OFF ME!!!"
Shane sighed, "Fine."
Shane got off of me, muttering that he didn't have a fat ass, just a muscular one.
I sat up, gasping for air.
William came over a few minutes after Shane had tried to kill me using his butt.
William sat down next to me, "Why are you just sitting here?"
I shrugged, "Not really in the mood for swimming right now, I guess. What about you, why aren't you swimming?"
William shrugged, "Don't want to swim either."
I asked, "So, now what?"
William shrugged, "I'll swim if you do."
I nodded, getting up, "Sure."
I spent the rest of the day swimming.

William offered me a ride home, I said yes.
Then I texted Adam that William offered me a ride, so Thomas wouldn't be needed.
---------------After The Ride---------------
I hopped off the motorcycle, "Thank you, William, see you tomorrow."
William nodded, "Bye, Avery, "and took off.
Hearing my name coming out of his mouth sent shivers down my back.
I walked into the apartment, the moment I opened the door I saw a few girls, "Umm, Avery?"
Adam waved, "Hey, bro, wassup?"
I answered, "The sky?"
The girls giggled, one of them said, "He's so funny!"
I was confused, was I funny?
Adam got up from the couch, "Common Adam, let me introduce you to my friends. This is Clare Catalan." She waved. Clare was pretty, she had red hair, green eyes, and a few freckles.
Adam continued, "This is Zoey Peth." She smiled at me. Zoey was also very pretty, she had black hair and light blue eyes.
Adam gestured to the last girl, "And this is Stephanie Wayne." How are all of them so pretty? Stephanie gave me a nod. She had golden-brown hair in soft waves and Hazel eyes.
I smiled at all of them, "Nice to meet you, ladies, now if you'll excuse me, I need to get my clothes and take a shower."
I grabbed my clothes from my room and took a shower.
I walked out of the bathroom, "Hey, Avery, is there any food?"
Adam nodded, "Yup, it's in the fridge."
I ate dinner quickly, I put the plates into the sink.
I walked to my room and collapsed onto the bed.
Sigh, swimming is so tiring. I picked up a random book, from my desk.
I read for a few hours until I fell asleep, it was 10:15.
And thus ended my Sunday.
