The Witch
Endora van Helsing was born on October 31st, 1857 into the close-knit Mage enclave in Amsterdam, the third child and only daughter of Hans und Angelien van Helsing. The source of the fictional character, Abraham van Helsing, in Bram Stoker's famous 1897 gothic horror novel Dracula, Dr. Hans van Helsing (1831-1890) was a well-respected physician of magical maladies during the day and a dark hunter by night. Specifically, he was a hunter of dangerous dark creatures and dark mages who have broken the laws and edicts of the Grand International Council of Magic. In 1878, the twenty-one year old Endora married Isaak Edelstein (1861-1890), Dr. van Helsing's personal assistant, and thus gained the name by which she is remembered within the magical community.
