A sea serpent wand is any wand that has a tiny sliver of a see serpent's scale or shard of a sea serpent's tooth in its core.

Sea serpents are huge magical water snakes that typically reach between 40 and 200 feet when full grown. There are several species of sea serpents, which can be differentiated by size, color, and whether or not they have short fins or flattened tails. Most sea serpents live in deep salt-water oceans and can only be sighted by ships far from shore. On the other hand, a few sea serpents are actually lake monsters that can occasionally be sighted in large fresh-water lakes such as Loch Ness in Scotland and Lake Michigan in the United States near the Canadian border.
