Chapter 9: Are you stalking me?
Luna walked out of the hotel. Where does one go to find a job? She took out Kate's phone and searched jobs in her local area. She found a couple that weren't that far away. The first place she went to was a small coffee shop.
She walked inside and was welcomed, Luna walked to the counter and said, "Hello I am here for the job interview."
The girl working there looked around 17, she smiled at Luna and said, "Sorry we just hired someone and we don't need anyone else."
Luna was disappointed but politely said, "Thank you, have a nice day." Then she walked away.
'Onto the next location.' Thought Luna. The next place was a fast food restaurant.
It took about 20 minutes to get to the place, thank goodness Luna didn't get lost. She went inside and went to the worker at the counter, "Hello, I'm here for the job interview."
The worker glared at her, he seemed like he really didn't want to work there, "Okay I'll get the manager and he'll interview you."
The manager came in and took her to a seating area. They sat down and he said, "Can I see your resume?"
What? She needs to bring a resume?
"I didn't bring one."
"Sorry I can't asses you if you don't have one."
"Oh okay, thank you for your time."
Luna got up and walked outside. She looked at her phone it was already the afternoon, how time flies. Luna's stomach growled, she was hungry. She checked the money that she had, it wasn't enough for a meal in the restaurant she just went into.
She was walking down the streets when a black car kept following her, Luna picked up her pace and ended up running. She ran down the street and turned into an alleyway.
The car followed her so she screamed! The door of the car opened, she looked inside Matt was in it.
Was he stalking her?
"What are you doing here, you almost gave me a heart attack!"
"I'm sorry if I scared I just wanted to see how your job search was going."
Luna looked at him then crossed her arms and looked away, "I don't need to tell you anything."
Matt smiled, "I see those clothes look good on you."
"Of course they do."
"Get in the car."
That is very creepy, they only met once and he is already telling her to get in his car. "Um where are you gonna take me?"
"You said you need to find a job, so I'll give you one."
Last time Luna was offered a job, it didn't go very well. "What type of job is it?"
"You'll see after we arrive there."
Luna reluctantly go into the car, "So where are we going?"
"To my company, you will become my assistant."
