His world went blank upon hearing such news. He knew Savannah won't play a prank on him. Everybody knew how severe it would be if Jillyanna was used to play a joke on him.
"What makes you say so?" he asked calmly on the phone. He needed to remain calm. He can't lose his focus or Jillyanna would really be in danger. She needed him this time.
"She was just standing in front of a grave. Many people came and was swarming her way. That's when I lost sight of her. I checked and asked the guards at the entrance and exits but they didn't see anyone with my description. Just now, I found her shoe. I knew it's hers. I am certain that someone took her away." she wanted to cry for Travis and Jillyanna.
Specially Jillyanna, she was pregnant for heaven's sake! She must be really scared right now.
Travis on the other hand, he asked the vice-chairman, Diego's father, to take over the company while he's gone. Saving Jillyanna was his utmost priority right now. He just found her and now she's in trouble once again.
"Ask everyone to check where she is! Give me Lucian's number, I need to talk to him." Travis stated before ending the call.
Diego also received the news so he went to his friend's office as soon as possible. When the elevator opened, he saw Travis standing in front with his father.
"Travis, I'm coming with you." Diego spoke after giving his father a glance. He didn't even bother himself to go out from the elevator, but he waited for him inside.
"I'd really appreciate it. Thank you." Travis responded and get inside the elevator after leaving instructions to Mr. Sandoval and his secretary. His face was gloomy but his voice remained calm.
Jillyanna regained her consciousness but it was dark everywhere. She moved her hands and feet, found that she wasn't actually tied but was blind folded.
'My kidnapper was another idiot.' she thought to herself and removed the cloth from covering her eyes.
What she saw was a very unexpected place. It wasn't an abandoned warehouse or an old place that she usually saw in movies, but a very clean and big house.
She was just sitting on a couch in a living room. It was silent around her and there was no signs of life aside from her.
She stood up from the couch and observed the area. The living room was clean and the furnitures were neatly arranged. There were small frames on the shelves so she picked it up.
Shock and horror flashed across her face as she covered her mouth to stop any noise from coming out.
She was trembling from fear with what she found. She felt dizzy and wanted to vomit but she was afraid to make any sound.
She was still focus on watching the pictures when she caught a glimpse of someone behind her through the glass frames. Her heart accelerated and her back was covered in cold sweats. She couldn't get herself to turn around and face the person behind her. She remained silent as if she didn't notice anything.
"How are you?" she acted startled and had her hand on her chest before turning around.
A handsome face of a man was right in front of her. His eyes were blazing as he stared at her eyes directly. It wasn't a look you would expect from a kidnapper.
"I'm fine. Why did you take me here? Are you kidnapping me for ransom?" she asked him like it was a normal conversation between friends. She looked at him for a while before looking around the area with a relaxed and calm manner once again but her heart almost popped out of her chest from anxiety and fear.
The man just stood in the same place while watching her walk around the place. He was observing her and he loved the way she moved her hands and waist. He likes her red lips, just like someone he knew from before. Unfortunately, that woman died.
"Do you think I need money?" he asked her back which made Jillyanna even more scared but she remained calm.
"If you don't want money, are you after my life then?" This time she stopped from observing the place and faced him.
The man didn't approach her, instead he went to a couch and sat there while watching her. He looked neat just like the place he was in. His rather prim and proper for someone who kidnap a woman or someone who killed.
"I don't like you getting a baby. I want you to abort it." Cold and deep. That was the impression that Jillyanna got from his voice.
"Having a baby is none of your business." she snapped at him but he didn't get mad or yell back at her.
He looked so innocent while sitting in front of her and she was unperturbed with his request. Truth be told, she wanted to wring his neck.
"Do you love the father of your child?" he asked her which made Jillyanna frowned.
She couldn't understand the connection but she still answered him to buy some time. "I don't love him." clear and firm without any hesitation. Lucian and Cielo must have known what's happened to her so she wasn't that worried.
"Since you don't love him, why keep the child? You must get rid of it before I do."
"I want to keep this child even if I hate the person."
"Then, I can give you one. Wouldn't that be great?"
Their exchange of words made her speechless. It's never fun to talk to a psychopath. They would make you want to bang your own head or blow theirs with a gun.
"Who are you?" Jillyanna had switched to a serious face and sat on the couch that she used to sit before removing the blindfold.
"You should have known me a long time ago. Didn't you read my name or recognize my face?" This declaration and mocking question confirmed Jillyanna's guess. Her intuition was telling her to escape but she knew it's futile to run from a place you don't know where the location is.
She rummaged her bag and found that her phone was nowhere to be found. When she turned to look at him again, a sinister smile was hanging on his lips.
A shiver ran down her spine as she watched him getting closer and closer to her.

Chapter 46: ESCAPE PLAN B? FAILED! NOW IN DANGER
Jillyanna arrived at the place where she visited just a week ago. Her feelings were complicated but one thing was sure. Travis won't harm her for a moment. It's possible that he wanted to get her child before getting rid of her, so Jillyanna wanted to escape before that happens.
Travis followed her to the room with the best view, the same room that Jillyanna entered before. "Travis, why don't you just give up on us? I can't really see myself being with you."
"What about our child?"
"What about MY child?" she gave emphasis to ownership to put a stake on her claim, "My child will grow up with me."
"You don't want me to father our child?" Travis asked with a dull pain pricking his heart. He couldn't imagine a life without her.
"I'm sorry. It's just...Things right now are messy. Can we talk tomorrow? I am tired. I want to be alone and think this through." she sat on the bed with tired and confused expression.
'I am just as good as you in acting!' Jillyanna commented in her heart. She had her mind fixed with the idea that Travis was just acting.
Left with no other choice, Travis left her alone inside her room. He went back to work after leaving Savannah with her. He can't afford to let her go.
"Whatever she wants, as long as it's good, just ask someone to get it for her. If she wants to go somewhere, make sure to accompany her. Make sure to put someone patrol the area below her balcony, that's where she escaped last time." Savannah smiled while listening to him give instructions. It was clear as day how much Travis likes the woman.
Too bad, Jillyanna wasn't willing to open her heart for him.
Jillyanna watched several men come and go while patrolling the area. She felt an oncoming headache from trying to find a chance in escaping once again.
Suddenly, an idea popped out of her mind. She flashed her beautiful smile and walked out of the room with her bag.
Savannah was sitting on the couch while typing something on her laptop. She was a pretty woman with a Japanese or Chinese beauty in her. At one glance, you would think she's just an ordinary girl but after sparring with her over a month ago, Jillyanna knew that she's someone strong and might be a cop working undercover.
"Hi." Jillyanna greeted her softly.
"Hello. Do you need anything?" Savannah retorted back in question as well.
"I was just wondering if I can go out? I don't think Travis would just let me go after what happened. Originally, I was supposed to visit my mother at the cemetery today. Can you come and go with me?" Her voice was soft and Savannah could see the sincere pleas in her eyes. How can she say no to a pregnant woman?
"Do you need to prepare or something? Or we can head out now?"
"Let's go now while the day is bright." Jillyanna responded with her smile. Savannah smiled, too and walked her out of the house.
She asked for two more people to come out with them. Jillyanna didn't mind it and was happy because she can execute her escape plan at the cemetery.
They stopped in front of a flower shop and bought a bouquet of red flowers which was her mother's favorite.
"I want some alone time with my mother. Can you stop a few meters away from me?" Jillyanna requested which also made sense so Savannah stopped in front of Venus' grave. It's about ten meters away from where Jillyanna was going and she can still see Jillyanna from where she stood.
"That grave looks a bit familiar." Savannah mumbled to herself while watching Jillyanna from afar but she didn't dare approach her as per request.
Jillyanna was observing the flow of visitors while trying to formulate an escape route in her mind.
"Mom, sorry if I'm a bit distracted today. I'm a bit upset and busy at the same time. However, Cielo mentioned that Lucian received a new evidence regarding your case. Do you think it's RV who sent it? Or was it Uncle Thomas? You know what mom..."
Jillyanna talked to her late mother for few minutes. When she saw a big wave of people coming in, she lowered her head and hid in the middle of the crowd.
Savannah's heart lurched in her throat. She couldn't spot Jillyanna at all within the crowd. "Watched out for anyone who would exit from the gate! I lost sight of the young madam! Repeat, watched out for anyone who would exit from the gate! I lost sight of the young madam!"
2Savannah was getting more anxious as she called out for Jillyanna's name! Her voice was getting hoarser after few minutes of calling.
The men waiting outside were also getting nervous. They already asked for a back up to look for Jillyanna but there was no result yet.
In her disappearance, she caused quite a stir within the people's heart. Travis heard the news as well and threw a tantrum inside his office.
Documents and pen were scattered on the floor. His name plate was broken and shards of glasses had some blood stains from his fist.
"The boss was angry! He is definitely angry this time!" one of the employees who saw some shards of glasses coming out on the slit of the door whispered to his colleagues.
"Something must have happened to the young madam. I heard him gave orders to find his wife immediately. Our boss is actually married? I didn't expect that!" another employee answered him.
"Are you sure you heard it right? You might be mistaken!" another one warned but also joined their conversation.
"I am right. It wasn't just once. This past week, I heard the boss mentioned about finding his wife almost everytime he answered a call." the woman answered again.
When the door opened, everybody dispersed from the circle and went back to work as their boss with bleeding hands walked out of his office.
At the cemetery, Savannah was still running around when she found a single shoe on the ground. It was what Jillyanna wore when they left the house.
Her face was drained with colors when a thought flashed across her mind. With trembling hands, she pulled out her phone and called Travis directly.
"RV, I think Jillyanna didn't escape. I think she was kidnapped."
