Chapter 139: Plans for the future of Nameless.
Aaron arrived at the meeting room in Nameless' headquarters.
He called every higher-up in the organisation to hold a meeting for Nameless' future development.
He was supposed to arrive early but he can't help it, his girlfriend is too cute!
Aaron was spending some good time with Choi Li Hwa, today Yong-Hyeon went to play with his friends.
So Aaron and Li Hwa went to date.
It was not until Aurora called him that he got reminded of the meeting.
The meeting room was very spacious, on the right sight sat the seven leaders of Nameless.
A chair was empty on the right side which was Aaron's seat.
On the left side were the trusted and loyal people under the eight leaders.
Aaron turned to the misfit gang, he saw the gang wants to beat him up for being late.
Embarrassed for being late since he was the person to called the meeting in the first place, Aaron coughed and greeted everyone.
"Hello, everyone! I-uh got stuck on traffic."
"Pfft!" Aurora almost burst out laughing hearing Aaron's excuse.
She was trying very hard to restrain herself from laughing out loud.
It's impossible to get stuck on traffic when the headquarters of Nameless is in a remote secluded place outside of the city.
The others rolled their eyes at Aaron for making such a horrible excuse.
*Ahem*
Aaron clears his throat to get everyone's attention.
"So let's start with the meeting. Today's meeting is about Nameless' future development plans!"
Hearing Aaron everyone became serious!
"Before we talk about Nameless' development plans, Aurora and I have some important matter that we want to discuss with everyone!" Aaron stated before turning towards the left side of the room, where the people under the eight leaders of Nameless were seated.
"Aside from the leaders here, the higher-ups in the room all are loyal and trusted people of this organisation."
On the left side were Timothy, Julian, Hidelio, Erina on the first row.
Behind them were Erica and some other trusted, loyal individuals of Nameless.
Few people were from Zulkernyn's department.
Some were from, Timothy's elite squads and some were people under Ian.
There's only a couple of people from Sabastian.
"First and foremost, the purpose of our organisation is to have a pillar of support for ourselves. Half of the leaders of this organisation comes from the Sacred Noble family and clans. As you all know, the Sacred controls almost everything in our world. Most governments are afraid of the hidden strength that the families and clans hold behind their facade of nobility and aristocracy."
"Well, you all know about us anyway. I'm just reminding people of this. Because sooner or later we will be going up against them. When that happens, everyone will be in danger! Not just everyone in the organisation, I mean everyone! Including your family and friends. This organisation exists for our security, everyone's safety including our friends and family. I can't promise you anything. We might fail sometimes to save our dear ones, but we will give our everything! The best we can do!"
Aaron looked at the people on the left side, he observed them thoroughly.
He was satisfied with their attitude and resolve.
Nodding, Aaron turned to the misfit gang.
The misfit gang looked at Aaron with a smile on their face.
Leaving Sabastian, Nyx and Aurora, the others were dragged into this life.
Even though they chose this life for themselves knowing all the dangers that might come their way.
They don't regret their decision!
Over the years, their friendship deepened.
Their bond was stronger than before.
Just like Aaron in his past life.
He is blessed with wonderful friends in this life too.
Friends who are more than just friends, but a second family to him.
Aaron became a bit emotional inside but he managed to keep a serious face.
"Some recent developments in our lives, have urged to take us a drastic change in our future development plans of Nameless."
He walked towards Aurora.
Aurora handed Aaron a tablet.
Taking the tablet, Aaron turned on the monitor in front of them.
"I will now list what we have accomplished so far and the current status of our organisation."
As he said a review of their organisation was on the monitor.
"1st, we have maintained secrecy! So far aside from the rumours that we deliberately spread about a new organisation debuting on the underworld. No one knows about Nameless! All the people know about us is that we are an organisation, that's it. How strong are we? How large our organisation is? There's no information about it. Which is good!"
Aaron nodded in satisfaction with their progress of maintaining their secrecy.
Turning to Terry, Aaron spoke up.
"2nd, one of our subordinate organisation, which is an underground organisation. It currently has full control over Star City! Terry has been doing a great job since he started managing Ember. Many organisation tried to infiltrate our city but failed ultimately, they have either gone back to where they came from or forever sleep on the seabed."
Aaron then turned to Timothy.
"3rd, our second subordinate organisation, the security firm under Timothy is also doing great. He carefully screens the people and employs people from various diverse backgrounds. The main purpose of this organisation is to have a cover for our organisation's security since we can't just bring our people from Nameless without any proper identity if we were to have our private security. Haha... Anyways, not only we will have our people hide under the guise of the firm's security guards. We can also help the lower members of our organisation get an honest job and possibly recruit more talented individuals to Nameless through this firm."
"4th, we have a technology company that can regulate our money through various channels, from black to white and white to black. So we have enough funds for now."
Turning to Erina Bauer, Aaron said.
"5th, we have an intelligence department on Nameless that has eyes and ears all around this country."
Now turning his head to the monitor, Aaron continued.
"6th? We have no 6th."
A complete white screen was on the monitor.
Turning off the monitor, Aaron turned to Aurora and spoke.
"That's it. A summary of our current status."
Sighing, Aurora started speaking from her chair.
"If I were to say anything, our current status is just better than Trinity Crown of the past.
Everyone turned to Aurora.
"We are the ruler of this city and nothing more."
"In the underground world of this country, we are a low tier organisation. But in this city, we are sitting at the top."
"The only good thing I can see in this organisation is the information department. We have a bank of information, that's it."
"With our organisation, we can't go up against the top organisations in the country. The thought of going against the Sacred Noble families and Clans? It's a joke that people will laugh to death after hearing about it."
"Forget the Sacred Noble families and clans, even the top organisations in the country won't even treat us as a threat"
"Exactly!" Aaron said aloud making everyone turn to him.
"As I said before, some recent changes in our lives have urged us to make drastic changes in our plan."
"I will give it to you straight, we only have 1 year. We must debut in the Abyss order in 1 year, so we can avoid facing our downfall!"
"Nameless must get powerful enough to face the threats from the organisations of the Abyss order!"
Sabastian, Zulkernyn, Ana, Erisviel and Ian furrowed their eyebrows hearing Aaron.
"What's wrong, Aaron?"
It was Zulkernyn who spoke up.
Turning his face to Zulkernyn, Aaron gave a wry smile.
"The Blood family has started to get serious! There will be unrest. After graduating from school, my life will be in constant threat. It will not matter whether I'm a Blood candidate or not. Unless they kill me and force my father out of his position, the Blood family will never get a new patriarch."
