Chapter 3: The Pleasure of Training
That was a lot of information now.
Honestly I don't know what to say. It seems pretty strong to me to say the least.
I mean what the hell! With my title [Child of Fate] I got a cloak of untouchability for my first 15 years of life. Not mention the protection that [Blessing of the Dragon God] granted to me, even if it's only twice.
And when I turn 15 I probably should be already pretty strong with my [Overwhelming Talent] right?
Then my [Legendary Dragon Arts] is legendary rank. Even when. I don't know how rare or strong Legendary is, from the games and novels I read it should be pretty strong right? I just hope that my previous reasoning is at least a bit applicable to this world.
And it said something that the [Legendary Dragon Arts] depends on the purity of the Dragon Bloodline inside of the person. Then I should have a pretty pure bloodline right. And it got even increased by my blessing.
But I wonder why my status said nothing of my bloodline. After all there seemed to be everything else there that was somehow related to me like my name age and even my yet non existent class. But not my bloodline.
And it seemed as if it was somehow important. At least for my [Legendary Dragon Arts]
Well it doesn't matter. I won't get answers just thinking about it. I will probably learn about it once I'm born if I ask my parents.
But what about those question marks at the end? It said that the conditions are not met for the first one. So I think I'll probably learn about it when I get older.
But what does insufficient permission mean? I didn't know that there were different levels of authority over the system.
And I can't think of how to increase your authority. Maybe by getting stronger?
But well that is also something that won't change just thinking about it so let's forget it for now.
Instead I should think about how to get stronger.
[Overwhelming Talent] let me feel the mana in the air and absorb it instinctively. So that would be a good start.
But what to do with that mana?
If I go by the logic of my previous world novels I should be able to strengthen or enlargen my Magic Core by using the absorbed mana, but how to do it without techniques I don't know.
So I should settle for the next best thing, which is strengthen my body. And luckily I won't be needing a technique for that as that got covered by my [Overwhelming Talent].
Since I didn't have anything else to do at the moment I directly started.
I first tried to clear my thought and sense my surroundings. And surprisingly it didn't take long to clear my thought and sense that there was something else in this darkness that was my mother's womb.
Something I couldn't quite explain. But if I had to I would say that there were particles that differed from each others in the air. But ist strang as i couldn't really see them with my eyes. But it's more like a feeling. A very strange feeling. As I could also feel some kind of connection with these particles. Some kind of closeness that if I wished so I could pull them into my own body.
As I concentrated on this feeling, some of these particles did indeed start coming closer to my body and even entered it, although I could feel some reluctance to do so.
When they entered my body I could feel them even more clearly as I felt some warmth, cold and some sort of sharpness that picked my insides but was strangely not uncomfortable but the contrar very comfortable and many many other strange sensations at the same time, all very comfortable.
And as I focused on my body I could also feel some sort of stone that had the same feeling as the surrounding particles. But a hundred if not thousands of times bigger.
And it had a feeling of closeness as well, but something more. It felt more like it was part of my body. And I would be able to command this mass to do as I wished without the slightest resistance.
I tried to guide the particles that I absorbed you merge with the mass that was Already in my body. But no matter what I tried it just wouldn't work.
It was as if trying to get two magnets with the same pole together. It just won't work
As I stopped trying to get these two seemingly same but apparently different types of particles together something fascinating happened.
My whole body started to absorb these particles, or what I believe is the mana. And after the absorption I could feel my whole body heating up and I could feel pleasure not any less then when I had sex in my last life.
I could feel my skin becoming more smoth and resilient, my muscles enlarging and shrinking to become more dense. My bones becoming stronger, and my organs more resilient.
I could feel my whole body becoming stronger and it was just pure bliss.
But this sensation was very short and stopped before I could even really enjoy it.
I got dejected and wanted it to last longer. So before I could even think about it I started to absorb more mana into my body and as soon as it entered I didn't even try to merge it with the large ball of mana inside my body that should be my Magic Core. Instead I proactively tried and merge them with my body.
Instead of resisting the invading mana, my body greedily absorbed all the mana I fed it.
And as soon as it started to absorb the mana I could feel the pleasure again.
But this time, as I continued to provide my body with the mana the pleasurable feeling continued.
I soon lost myself in this pleasurable feeling and lost my sense of time as I continued to absorb the mana in my surroundings which then got absorbed by my different body parts to strengthen themselfes.

Some time later
I heard my absorption process as I could hear a sound directly in my head.

So I gained stat points through me absorbing the surrounding Mana. I wonder how much time passed since I lost my sense of time.

Wow so 1 week has passed since I started to absorb my surrounding mana.
That was definitely longer than I expected.
I thought it would have been only an hour or something like that.
Well whatever let me resume my pleas… I mean training.
As soon as I thought that I directly started the absobtion of the surrounding mana again. And soon the pleasurable feeling of before was back and I lost myself again.

As I was indulging in the pleasure I could hear the sounds of the system every now and then but I choose to ignore them since it was only the message of me gaining Stat points, and that wasn't as important or interesting as the pleasure I was currently feeling.

<3rd Person PoV>
Meanwhile in one of the rooms of the Imperial Palace inside the Sacred City of the Sacread Beast Empire
„Doctor what is going on? Since two months ago the baby had started to frantically absorb all the mana of surroundings. Is it going to be okay? After all with the amount of mana that the baby had absorbed, one would normally be able to increase the Level of ones Magic for by 1 Level in the Minor Stages, or reach the fourth Level of the first Step. Won't it explode?"
The deep and sonorous voice of a middle aged man in golden dragon robes with long purple hair and eyes, with small scales at the corner of his eyes, two long antlers on his head and a thick and long reptilian tail that stood in the middle of the room could be heard. It was mixed with a tint of worry as well.
The one who was referred to as Doctor was an old man that had similar characteristics as the middle aged man, just not as prominent and majestic.
„Your Majesty, there seems to be nothing wrong with the baby. The one which worrys me is the mother. The mana in the air are as your Majesty knows full of impuritys that an individual normally has to filter before it can absorb it. We normally use our techniques for that purpose. But since the child has no such technique it would normally absorb the impurities too. But fortunately for the baby it is protected inside its mother and so all the impurities of the mana get blocked by the mother. Your Majesty should also know what I'm trying to say. The mother is strong herself so the effect are not visible at the moment but it could cause complications when she gives birth."
The middle aged man couldn't help but frown when he heard the doctor.
This unborn son of him was truly suprising. First is the fact that he is already 2 years inside his mother's belly, even for dragonkin like them this is abnormal. Normally a dragonkin gives birth after 14 months, but this kid of his is already ten months too late.
Next is the unnatural size of the fetus. As he is at least twice the size as other babys.
And now this.
Two month ago the baby started to absorb the surrounding mana like a starving whale would suck in water.
The first time this happened it stopped just shortly after and he thought that it was just his imagination. But in the next moment it resumed again and showed no signs of stopping until a week later when it stopped again. This time he thought it was finally over but it resumed again shortly after and hasn't stopped until now.
The doctor in front of him was already doctor number Fiftysix he had consulted since the start.
And he is even known as the Sacred doctor, the only disciple of the divine doctor. Even for him it was a difficult task to ask for his services. And the only reason the Sacred Doctor agreed to his request was because he was a dragonkin too and he promised to aid the Sacred Doctor twice without asking anything.
One had to know that this promise was something that many people would die to just get the chance of being granted such a promise. He was after all one of the top 10 Experts of the Beastmen race.
But it was kinda worth it since he at least knew that the baby was ok. With this out of the way it was now time to worry about his second wife.
„Can't we do anything?"
„I'm afraid that I'm not able to do anything to change the situation. Only my Master might be able to extract the impurities that are accumulating inside your wife without harming the baby.
„The only thing I can do is to either aid the natural childbirth.
„We can either perform a caesarean operation to lighten the burden on the mother but with unknown consequences for the child or let the child be born naturally and endanger the mother."
After hearing what the doctor said and before the middle aged man could say anything, a loud voice could be heard from the mother that was currently resting on the bed.
She was very beautiful with silver eyes and hair, with the most beautiful face anyone can imagine. She had perfect and flawless smooth skin with some scales on the corner of her eyes, on top of her hands and some parts of her cleavage that didn't hinder her beauty but even accented it.
„No! I don't want to endanger my child! Even if it means my death as long as my son is gonna be born healthy. Also I feel nothing wrong like I told you thousands of times already husband. I don't mean to disrespect or doubt the Sacred Doctor, but I can't feel any impurities inside my body."
When the Sacred Doctor heard her doing a flash of displeasure shot past his eyes but it quickly went away as he knew that a mother just about to give birth would say anything to save her kid.
„But Zoe! If I lose you then what should I do? I love you dearly so how could I live with myself when I know that I could have done something to save you from your death?"
„I'm warning you, Gabriel! If you do anything while I give birth to my son then I swear, I'll kill myself on the spot!"
When the emperor hears that he could do nothing but accede to his wife.
And so, after a few more days, it was finally the day of birth of the Third Prince.
