Chapter 306: Something Is Off...
Silence befell the room. Even though the king announced that the meeting will start soon, no one spoke as of the moment to show respect to the king.
It was as if the quietness suspended in the air, waiting for one to trigger the gun to break the glass. Like the glass breaking would be the signal for everyone to speak, ending their misery of waiting expectantly for one to break the deafening silence.
"We need to think of involving the people in the mansion for this plan."
The king finally speaking out of the blue was already the rescue they were waiting for. The others internally heaved a sigh of relief, already not taking the silence they were having until now.
"By involving the people in the mansion," Umbra trailed off, everyone's eyes now on him as he continued what he was saying. "You mean we are going to interact with the people there?"
