Chapter 180: Drifted Off to Dreamland

The professor had gone home and the moment he opened the door to his bedroom, he immediately removed his sweater and had plopped onto his bed, half-naked and drunk. 

It was already 12 AM when he got home. He sighed against his pillow then he turned to his side, groaning aloud as he mentioned the woman's name whom he still loved despite leaving her alone when he knew that she was pregnant with their child. 

"Claudia... oh, Claudiaaaa, where are you..."

He was slurring on his words. He put his forearm on his forehead as the world around him spun, his eyes scanning the room as if the woman he had called for was with him. 

"I met our daughter... I met our daughter indeed..."

He began talking to himself as if he was talking to Claudia—his long-dead lover.
