Chapter 106: If I Betray Them

Everyone was now in the dining room, eating their meal for the night in silence. Old man Gladios and Martha had cooked mushroom soup and Salisbury steak for dinner, and Ava had baked a Sachertorte cake for dessert.

Everyone was silent as they were eating their dinner. Occasionally, they would also steal glances on Levin who was eating with them, with a full smile on his face, a complete opposite of Devin, really.

"Ah, even food made by the mortals is delicious," Levin complimented as he looked at the old man across him. "Thank you, Gladios," he added, making the old man gave him a small smile.

"Thank you, Master Levin," he said then a thought suddenly crossed his mind. 'But I won't forgive you for suddenly kissing my granddaughter!'

'Oh, if only grandpa Gladios knew,' Gwen thought to herself, understanding what the old man might've been thinking. 'Devin had stolen her first kiss. Would you be willing to kill him then?'
