"Now, down to business.", your body language changed completely as you sat down at the head chair on the long conference table and motioned at Namjoon to speak.
"We have a proposal.", Namjoon smirked as he fixed his glasses.
"We, as in BTS, are planning to start a corporation of our own.", Namjoon started as he leaned back in his chair, the tips of the fingers of his hands touching in a confident, business-like composure. He continued as you lifted your brow in anticipation of what was coming. "All our father's created their respective businesses from scratch and we ain't ones to just inherit theirs. They were all good friends and now we've decided to test the waters out ourselves and expand their business."
You nodded as you listened to their story and Namjoon's proposal for their corporation finishing the job that the builders left undone. You felt a little uneasy with the idea. Your company only hired the best and BTS were still rookies in the game. Neither did they have experience, nor a name in the market but when you looked at Jack, he seemed to be willing to take the risk.
"Of course I know what you're thinking. That we're rookies and why would you hire us.", Namjoon smiled as he noticed the two of you looking at each other with confused looks on your faces.
"Well we're offering a deal with the work precision that no one would.", Yoongi continued as he handed a file to you that you skimmed through.
"The lowest price you can imagine and the work would be 7-star quality. Your company just suffered a loss of millions and this could be a cushion to the blow. Not to mention, this would give us a base to start with and we can build upon this partnership as you gain trust in us.", he concluded with a smirk, knowing he had won you over.
"If you would excuse us for a moment, I would like to discuss the matter with Jack.", you said as you got up, the two of you bowed as you left the room to converse on how this could work out very well for your company if only all went well. You also noticed how you couldn't help but stare at Taehyung in his sheek and hot suit. 'Not now Ella!' you scolded yourself as you snapped back to reality and what Jack was saying.
Around 30 minutes, the two of you walked back into the room to your awaiting audience. You smiled while extending your hand to shake Taehyung's. "I hope you can wait for a bit, we'd like to go through your files and then make a final decision. A pleasure to have this meeting."
"The pleasure is all ours.", Taehyung said as he smiled at you slightly.
As Jack escorted the boys out of the company, you knew something wasn't adding up here... How did BTS know about the builders who ran away when the information was brought to your attention just hours back? Did Jack have a hand in this? You swore if it was him trying to play biases and get you to get closer to BTS it wasn't a good idea. Personal a professional lives just wouldn't mix for you.
You walked out of the room, exhausted and too occupied with your thoughts as you gave a slight look to Jack who looked confused as to why you were looking at him like that. You sat in your car thinking you'd deal with it tomorrow, not wanting to overthink it too much and boy were you in for a surprise.
