Chapter 6: Chapter VI
No this can't happen I can't let anybody keep me hostage. All the while when I was screaming and asking for help he didn't say anything but kept walking like a machine.
We turned towards another corridor and there were fewer people there. I know that these people aren't going to help me so I have to take matters into my own hands. I wanted it to be easy but he left no choice for me.
When the fight can't be won by strength then you must use intelligence.
That's the advice my father used to give me during my royal training and I know it's time to act upon that advice.
I am hanging on his right shoulder and he is keeping me in place by placing a hand on my backside. Perfect.
I lifted my left leg and put it on his shoulder and before he could register what was happening I bent myself a little and twisted both of my legs a little which were on either side of his neck. The twisting of my leg caused pain on his neck and his hold loosen on me and he lost his balance but before he could fall I flipped and landed on the ground on my two feet while he fell on the ground with a loud thud. He groaned in pain.
I really, really feel guilty because his back is going to be in pain because of the fall and he fell because of me. I really want to ask if he is okay but that would be a dumb move so I did the only thing that is right at that moment. Run.
I ran as fast as I could and thank God that before leaving my own castle I wore a frock, not a heavy gown and flat shoes so it is easy for me to run in them.
I ran and ran and as the front door of the castle came into view I smiled but soon my smile vanished when a group of bulky soldiers made a circle around me and I had to stop.
All of them are so big and bulky that I am feeling like an ant in front of them.
Never ever show weakness in front of your enemy; it made them think that they are winning over you.
I remembered my father's words and a wave of confidence passed through me. I held my head up and spoke in a deadly tone,
"Move"
They didn't bulge and that made me angrier.
"I said move!"
I yelled and this time they looked hesitant but still didn't bulge. I looked at my back to notice that he is coming towards us in long strides with a deadly expression plastered on his face. And I know I do not have more time to bicker with these soldiers.
The one that is standing in front of me is crossing his hands over his chest and an idea crossed my mind.
I jumped a little and got hold of the soldier's right shoulder and before he could make a move I lifted my left leg, put on his crossed arms using it as a step and flipped over his head. I landed straight on the ground and again make a move towards the front door but I heard some yelling from behind me like this, from him
'Close the front doors NOW!'
So I pushed my legs a little harder but as I reached to the front doors they were already completely closed. I sighed knowing that I lost this time.
I turned around and my eyes widened seeing him an inch away but again regained my posture and put on a blank face. He lifted his one hand a little and I flinched thinking that he was going to hit me but the gesture he made next, utterly shocked me. Instead of hitting me, he caressed my cheeks and I opened my eyes wide again.
"You know if anyone has done that stunt over me as you did a few minutes ago I would have been really angry..."
He sighed and continued but his next words shocked me to my core,
"But since my love for you is endless and you are an exception for everything I can't do anything but to forgive you"
He said that with so many emotions swirling in his eyes that I can't help but gulp.
