Chapter 8: Dinner

As soon as i walk into the cottage i get asked a million questions from Mary about the trip and what happened, well everything that William that hadn't told her. Then i remembered the necklace that i had in the pocket of my dress after i fainted. " Aunt Mary I found this.." i pull the necklace out. "and after i found it i passed out and had another one of my nightmares this time more vivid and more detailed then before.." Mary looks up. " Child you put that cursed object down right now!" I drop the necklace to the ground. Mary comes over with a broom and sweeps it up. She starts muttering to herself. " Your not ready,Your to young, this is not the life for a girl..." she keeps repeating herself over and over again. " Mary..?" " Go get yourself cleaned up and changed for dinner. No excuses. Go!" " Umm ok..." I go upstairs and draw myself a bath and I get in relax. I feel two hands on the back of my neck and before I can react i feel two sharp points start into my neck. I start to feel panic rising in my mixing with a drunk sensation. Then my instincts kick in and I plunge my head backwards full force into my attackers nose. The points are removed from my neck I spin around to face my attacker and no one is there but fluttering curtains from an open window..
