Chapter 78: Chapter 76
"Ok so Ruby, go with Yang and Velvet and do some missions, and I'll go work on the guitar." I say in a rush. Then without anytime for them to say anything, use Petal burst. I reach outside the workshop, but I've forgotten the key. Oh well I'll just use my power to create a key, then open it up. I look around and see a nice bit of space. I start to set up some tables for different things, then make the tools I'll need.
I spent the next few days, just making the guitars. It was fun, the only magic I did was to make the metal things, like fret wire, pick ups, machine heads, etc. Now since it's magic, will it need magic sealing? Guess I'll have to find out. I don't know how long I've spent in here, but I don't think it's been too long. I mean if it was, Ruby would of already barged in. So I keep testing.
I finally finish, and have three beautiful guitars. Two 'what I'm calling' Magitech Guitars and an acoustic guitar. Ruby's has red petal inlays, and a rose painted on the body. Mine is a monochrome design, with black rose inlays. And the acoustic is a red and black, with alternating red and black rose inlays. On the body, there is a black rose on a red background and a red rose on a black background. Me and Ruby will be sharing this one.
Next I need to make an amp that uses magic, but I'll leave that since I've missed Ruby. I stretch, and leave the workshop after putting everything away. I send Ruby a message to see where she is. And after only one minute, I see petals as something jumps onto me. "Hello Ruby, Miss me?" I asked, smiling and hugging her. "You've been gone for a month, you need to make up to me." She said, with puppy eyes. "Well how about this?" I ask, pulling out her guitar.
"Oh thank you thank you thank you." She said, in quick secession grabbing the guitar. "Wow, it's beautiful." She said, fawning over the guitar. "I think I might get jealous, if you keep fawning over that guitar." I said, with a teasing smile. "Yeah you might." Ruby said, as she started hugging the guitar. I just start laughing, and pull out mine. "So should we go home, we still have two weeks." I said, with a massive smile.
We arrive home, and sat in the front room. We start playing, and it was fun. So we spent the next two weeks, playing guitar during the day and having fun at night. We head to Velvet's house and see how well there are doing. I knock on the door and wait. Yang answers the door with a smile, she is looking a lot stronger then when she arrived. "Come on you two, Velvet is waiting in the front room." She said, dragging us along.
"Hello you two." Velvet said, sitting down on the sofa. Wow even Velvet is like a different person, she just a little weaker then Yang. "It seems the training worked." I said, looking from Velvet to Yang, then look at Ruby. She nods and I smile. "Ok, so are you two ready?" I ask, knowing the answer. "Yes/Yeah." They both said. I start to laugh and open a portal to mothers place. We all step through, but mother was nowhere to be seen. Oh yeah even devils can't see, well unless they want to explode.
"Ok so both of you lay down, and I'll start." I say, making two beds appear. They both nod and make their way to the beds. After they lay down I start on Velvet first and it went well. Then it was Yang, which also went well. "So how long do you think they'll be out?" Ruby asked, looking at her sister. Before I could answer, another voice chimed in. "It will only be at most five years, but probably three years." Mother said, finally appearing.
"Well at least it isn't as long as yours." I said, remembering that time. Ruby just looks at me, and smiles. "Well we will all be together, but have you thought about anyone else to join us?" Ruby asked, with a wondering look. "The only one I've thought of is Kara, but I don't know if she'll come along. Well if we get Vali, she might." I say, thinking about the two of them, kinda missing them.
