Chapter 13: Epilogue

Might be you left utterly broken, however life tells you to go on. Ganoon naman ang buhay. Hindi sa lahat ng panahon nandiyan ang mga taong nagpaparealize sa atin kung sino at ano tayo.
When Mike died, a part of me felt numb and empty. Not because he was the center of my world, the mere fact he helped me to know myself more. That whatever my decision, he was there to support me. Even if I lied, still he understands me.
All of us wanted to be appreciated. Who accept our flows, makagawa man tayo ng maling desisyon ay nandiyan parin ang mga taong nagpapahalaga sa atin, upang tulungan tayo.
When he died, all seems shattered into pieces – the dreams and plans. He was the one who let me realize something. I have to go and move forward even if the pain was unbearable. May bagay o tao man na nawala, hindi ibig sabihin noon ay hihinto na pag-ikot ng oras para hintayin kang makabangon. No, the clock continue ticking though you are wounded. In that realization, you have to live your life to the fullest simply you are breathing – means you're alive.
Ink Heart Organization
The organization which made me realize, perhaps gives hope to my shattered soul. Kung hindi kay Lia, hindi din naman ako sasali, well, partly. Because of Mike, I thought of granting his last wish before he died.
Same organization I met him. Different with my first love, but, like Mike he pursued me too. Help me to keep going.
"You done?" I look and smiled at him.
"Yes." Sagot ko, pinagpagan ko ang suot kong pants. Tiningnan ko ang lapida sa harap namin.

Rest in Peace
We came here in cemetery to visit him. This is the first time since then. Simula noong nawala siya, ni kahit ang simpleng pagdalaw ay hindi ko ginawa.
"Thank you dahil sinamahan mo ko." Sambit ko kayMiggy na siyang kasama ko.
Tinawagan ko siya kanina, sinabi ko sa kanya na dadalaw ako sa puntod ni Mike. No further explanation he came with me. He never been that jealous guy – boyfriend perhaps. Sa aming dalawa, siya pa ang may malawak na pang-unawa.
"Ginagawa ko 'to, as a sign of gratitude." Napataas naman ang kilay ko. "If not because of his pursuance, hindi kita kilala."
Napangiti naman ako sa sinabi niya. Partly, I never expected it. Mike and Miggy are both strangers to each other. Yet a circumstances brought them into. Because of the sudden death of Mike, I was left with the baggage of the past.
Yet, I met Miguel Luis Sevilla or should I called Miggy. A man who became My Life Changing Memories as well as my present.
"And I also thanked him, na nakilala ko ang babaeng gusto ko makasama habang nabubuhay." He gets my right hand kung saan nakasuot ang engagement ring. He intertwined our hands.
Tumingin siya sa puntod ni Mike, pagkatapos ng ilang minute ay tumingin siya sa akin.
"Let's go?"
"Yes."
Sabay kaming naglakad papalayo sa puntod ng taong una kong minahal. Ang taong naging dahilan upang makilala ko ang taong mamahalin ko. After years, muling nabuo ang pagkatao ko. I already let go of him and now I'm ready to step forward.
Mike was my realization and Miggy became my life changing.
Two persons who says different sentiments yet relies same thoughts.
"Be brave and fearless Sophie." – Mike
"Take off the mask you are wearing, wear the mask of bravery." Miggy said to me the first time I entered the organization. I don't really know why he said it.
But one thing I realized. . .
Brave is when the world collided to resemble you, but you fight and standing up with the firm decision you do have.
At kahit saan man ako magpunta, mananatili sapuso ko ang mga nangyari noon. Dahil kung hindi sa mga 'yon, wala ako sasitwasyon na ito ngayon. Things got been easier pero ang ritmo ng buhay aypalaging nandiyan para patuloy na ipaalala sa atin ang mga bagay-bagay. Wecould be more than what others think, na sa lahat ng sitwasyon sa buhay merongisang bagay na mananatili. A faith which lead us to believe love accompanied withbravery and meekness, could give us beautiful gift. A gift which I thanked God,because He never left me. instead He give me the precious gift. Alam ko namarami pa ang mangyayari sa buhay ko, at alam ko din naman na nandiyan parin Siya sa tabi ko. Gumagabay at patuloy na nagbibigay ng pag-asa.
