Emyrs kept getting notifications like this since he awakened on this volcanic planet. Emyrs, formarly known as Derek, had kept his memories from his past life and his encounter with the Overseer. He had been reincarnated as his favourite game character, Emyrs Ambrose Baptiste, a vampire body with game skills. Emyrs had been a bit of a nerd in his past life and hid it well but when he woke up and saw his reflection in the murky silver waters of the planet, he failed to contain his shock. When he looked into the water, a naked, handsome figure with glowing silver hair, golden eyes and bronze skin peered back at him.
"Emyrs?!" He shouted. "...I am, Emyrs?" as he was still in shock his heightened vampire senses screamed at him to step back. He panicked and tried to step back but moved further than he expected. He did not have time to be stunned by his increased speed and stamina. A crocodile-like monster burst six feet out of the water, with its jaws wide open and landed on the ground causing a slight tremor.
[What the actual fuck?] Emyrs couldn't believe the monstrosity that was starring back at him. There were three things that Emyrs was not aware of. First, evolution on this planet was not like it was on Earth. It was faster in beasts who were saturated in the intense energy that was coming from the new planet. Second, he was also experiencing enhanced evolution at a cellular level due to being exposed to the same energy these mutated creatures were but his Titan Body was distributing this power evenly and stopping any unwanted mutations or mental damage. And lastly, although these beasts were dumb and lead by their desire to be the biggest hunter and grow stronger, their instincts were extremely sharp. While Emyrs was panicking about the thick skinned beast, with glowing red eyes and was three times his size, the beast was also evaluating Emyrs with a confused mental state.
Since the monster had come into existence, it had hunted to become one of the prime hunters in the waters and the area around it. It was the king here and it knew that in his domain, size and power mattered but this new creature that he was looking at was smaller than him but radiated power that made him want to retreat. The beast was beginning to have more brainpower than other species on the planet due to his activities to become a more supreme hunter. In time it would have been capable of thought and strategy if only it had not met Emyrs. If only it had decided to retreat. It roared in frustration and charged the confusing annoyance that was in front of it.

Emyrs ignored the notifications and gave his full attention to the charging enemy.

In a moment of true courage and stupidity, forgetting his own skills and speed, he charged the monster too. The clash was surprising. The crocodile slashed at Emyrs' chest causing gaping wounds and blood to spray. Emyrs swung his fist and knocked four of the beast's fangs into it's own mouth. Enraged, the beast bit down on Emyrs' shoulder. Letting out a pained scream Emyrs let his own anger take over. His golden eyes turned completely blood red. Small back veins grew around his eyes and arms. He roared in anger and pain.
The sound caused all the other species that had been watching into a panic and seeking to get as far away as possible. This was fight between two true predators. They had been hoping to get the remains of whatever was left over by the winner but the fear of having one of these beings turn their power onto them, mere scavengers was enough to clear the area.
Emyrs slammed his fists into the beast and it's tough skin began to tear. The beast whipped it's tail in a last ditch effort to escape but Emyrs blocked it with his arm. The arm snapped but Emyrs was in berserker mode. Having been knocked a few feet away and with one good arm, he charged at the escaping monster. He leapt onto it's back, holding onto it as it tried to throw him off. Failing to do so, it made a charge for the water, hoping to get the upper hand and drown him. Emyrs realised this in his frenzied state and his own fangs grew out. He sunk them into the beast's neck and began to drink it's putrid blood. The beast roared in agony. Thrashing around harder than ever.

The beast slowed down. It was still trying to fight but it was getting sluggish in it's movements. It dropped to the ground and it's eyes went dark. Emyrs released the beast sensing all the life from it's body and blood were gone. He roared a warning that was heard from a great distance away. This was his territory now. He slid off the creature's back and his eyes returned to their golden state. He was exhausted. His stamina was almost spent and his health was slowly recovering but something in him had changed. It was then he heard the announcements pour in.

The rest of the blood flowed out from the dead monster poured out of the body and crystallised around Emyrs. And as he fell asleep he wondered what kind of Hell he had been reincarnated into.

The blood red crystal cracked and then a loud boom turned the crude crystal coffin into nothing more than red shards. Emyrs walked out with Chaos flames dancing all over his body as they died down his head become more clear. He was still naked but his face was more handsome. His hair had grown down to his back and been braided into a thick, silver ponytail. He had longer claw-like fingernails that he could grow out and retract as he pleased. He breathed out. It was now night time but that did not bother him. He had night vision, a vampire innate ability in the game Court of Souls but this was not a game. That pain he felt fight that beast was real. Even with his resistances he had been forced to feel the reality of his situation.
[What did that crazy Overseer do to me?] He was disturbed from his thoughts with new notifications popping up.
