Chapter 2: Mission
Pushing down his excitement, Ren continued to concentrate, attempting to move the chakra he had sensed around his body to various points. Moving the energy proved to be a much tougher ordeal to overcome though, as there seemed to be a blockade whenever he tried to move it. Thinking back to Juns memories of the show, Chakra was an energy formed from the union of body and spirit, and if one was not balanced, the energy would become unstable and would either become extremely hard to handle, or even possibly deadly.
Knowing this, Ren took a different approach to moving his chakra. Instead of using his mind/will alone, he tried tensing his body and using that paired with guiding the chakra in an attempt to circulate it throughout his body. Pushing his chakra against the blockade, he could feel cracks start to form, but the moment they formed, they repaired themselves. "What am i doing wrong? I used my knowledge and it should be working, as cracks are forming. Am i just not good enough?", thought Ren somberly, not fully convinced he could actually harness chakra. [ Using my ability {Compute}, I have deducted the reason you cannot break past this barrier is the way you are moving your chakra. Right now, you are just guiding it along the path, and using your body to force the chakra to break the barrier. What you should do is instead of guiding the chakra, control the chakra with your mind. In order to break the barrier, you need to be able to control your chakra to make it do your bidding], said the system.
Ren slightly nodded his head after hearing this. After learning his fault, he immediatly went back to work at breaking his blockade to becoming stronger and not being controlled. Going at the barrier with a force unlike before, his rather large pool of chakra for a beginner began to be easily harnessed by Ren, smashing into it like a cascade. The cracks began to build up, the barrier not being able to repair them fast enough. Ren continued to push, not accepting just stopping the repair. He wanted it to break!
Chakra continued pushing, and in one blink of an eye, it started flowing through Rens body, nourishing it, giving him the feeling his vitality itself had increased. "No wonder the people in Naruto were so strong!", Ren thought, "Just being able to move around your chakra makes your body 50% stronger. That and the horrible conditions".
Ren after controlling his chakra thought, "I might as well attempt to use my jutsu, the chidori". He was excited, who wouldn't be! Forming the handsigns ;Monkey, Dragon, Rat, Bird, Ox, Snake, Dog, Tiger and Monkey, Ren grabbed his hand, expecting the electricity to start flying, when all he could see was a little spark, and could only hear 2 birds chirping. [You do not have the required chakra control to be able to use this to its full potential, or the chakra. It is reccommended that you start training your chakra and chakra control immediatly]. [MISSION ISSUED: Have High Genin Chakra Control: Time Limit- 2 days. Reward - 1000 points. Fail - No punishment]
"What is a mission?", Ren asked, clearly confused. "What is a genin? There are possible punishments? Why didn't you tell me you had a mission system? What is going on?". The system was clearly overwhelmed by his questions, not knowing where to start, deciding to give short, concise answers in order to stop his question train. [ A genin is the lowest level of a ninja. As i did not know there were missions, I am guessing there may be. I didn't know either, maybe god pranked you. You know whats going on you coward].
Ren was not sure where to start, but with some helpful memories of chakra control training popping up, he stood up and started walking out of the warehouse. Ignoring the muttering people glancing at his current attire, he walked over to a nearby tree and plucked off at least 30 leaves. Hurrying back inside to stop the embaressment he felt, he sat down and placed his leaves around him. Ren knew that in order to train himself, he would fail and destroy a lot of leaves, so he had plucked 30. Concentrating his chakra on his forehead, he placed a leaf on his head, only for it to immediatly disintegrate. Lowering his output, he tried again.
*Time Skip - Two Days *
Since the mission had started, Ren had been constantly going at the trees around the area, plucking leaves. Now, two days later he could say that the leaf abuse had paid off. Not only had he reached above genin control levels, into something he learned was called chunin level, he had also increased his chakra levels to the level of a mid genin. [Mission Acomplished - 1000 points + ]. Ren heard a ding, as his shop points increased up to 1,180. Grinning, Ren was excited to be able to finally use the one ability he had in his arsenal, the chidori. running through the handsigns again, he could feel chakra creeping out of his arms, and with it came the lightning and the birds chirping. Although not to the degree of shown in the anime yet, its power so still very high. Even though the lightning looked and sounded very cool to Ren, he could feel how much it drained him. Using a single chidori at not even full power used about 80% of his total chakra, and he knew that if he ever fought someone with it, it would never work to use it, and then immediatly run out of energy, so if it was going to become a viable tool to use, he would have to train more. Looking in the shop, he bought a few useful jutsu along with some training equipment he knew he would need if he was to get stronger.

He put down the chakra paper on the floor, hoping that he would get a useful affinity, or a few. Pushing his chakra into it, three reactions occured on it. It had split in half, crinkled, and dampened all at once. "System, what does this mean, other than a damp crinkled paper that is in half?", Ren asked. [It splitting in half means wind affinity, crinkling means lightning affinity, and dampening means water affinity], asnwered the system. Ren celebrated to himself, as from memory (Juns), he knew that having more than 2 affinities was very rare, and was immensly helpful in all situations. Putting on his weighted equipment, he got to work.
