Chapter 34: Demon bat clan
After thinking of a new method to increase his blood purity, Ren wondered if he could use Sakon and Ukon's Kekkei Genkai to merge the vampire and human blood into one kind of blood. When Ren tried to fuse the two types of blood into one he checked if his blood purity increased and noticed that instead, he got a new bloodline called dhampir. So Ren decided to ask All Existence if he got 70% dhampir blood purity could he get rank 3 of the blood path. All Existence told him that if he got 70% dhampir blood purity it would function the same as vampire blood purity at rank 3, and this cost 500 points. Now that Ren knew that he decided to fuse all of his vampire and human blood together, and with this method, it only took 3 hours, and now he had 80% dhampir blood purity and 20% vampire blood purity.
Now that he had finished two of the requirements to get to rank 3 of the blood path, he decided that now he should begin to go through the blood condensing part. So Ren used the blood condensing method until he needed his body to make more blood. Since in Ren's previous world he had lots of experience with the human body because he wanted to achieve immortality, he knew that if he made more bone marrow he could make it into blood cells. Also since Ren had Shikotsumyaku he made his body make more bone marrow then turned it into blood cells.
Now that Ren had more blood cells he continued to condense his blood. This whole process continued for the next six hours and now his chakra levels were beginning to run low. Now that it had been very long since he sent out his blood clones Ren got rid of all the blood clones to get their experiences. When Ren got rid of all of the blood clones he now knew where Shion's shrine was and where Mōryō's soul is sealed. Then as Ren was thinking that his blood clones didn't find any demons he was going through the memories of the last blood clone and found that the blood clone had actually found the hiding spot of a demon bat clan.
The only reason Ren's blood clone had actually found these demon bats was that he had transformed to look like one of their kind and they let the blood clone past the barrier and seal hiding them. Now that Ren knew where the demon bats where he went over to where the blood clone found the demon bats were. After traveling for around one hour Ren was now in front of where the blood clone was let in past the barrier, so he waited here to see if they would let him in. Ren waited for around one minute and now he saw a group of demon bats walk out of the wall of a cliff.
"You must be the main body of that demon bat we just let in and then disappeared into the smoke. Come with us to meet the chief bat." - Demon bat #1
After the biggest demon bat said this they walked back into the wall and Ren followed. Once he walked past the wall, Ren saw a dark cave with many different pathways. Even though Ren wanted to go see what was down the other pathways he continued to follow the demon bats that led him through the wall. After flying with his wings for a short while Ren arrived near a giant demon bat that was even bigger than him.
"Everyone else may leave, I only want to talk to the outsider." - Chief demon bat
After the chief demon bat said this all of the other demon bats flew away and Ren just stayed there.
"Now that we are alone, I would like to ask what are you? I can sense small amounts of our demon bat bloodline in you, but not enough to have the form you currently have." - Chief demon bat
Ren was surprised that the Chief demon bat noticed that he wasn't actually a demon bat, but he was even more surprised that the Chief demon bat said he had a small amount of their bloodline and wondered if his vampire bloodline was related to theirs.
"I will show you my true form, but please don't overreact and remember that I am still part demon bat." - Ren
After Ren said this he untransformed from the demon bat form and when he did it he saw that the Chief demon bat was greatly surprised, but when Ren looked at his hands he was also surprised because his skin was paler and thought it was from him now being a dhampir and vampire instead of being a human. Even though the Chief demon bat was surprised he still gave out a reply to Ren no longer being transformed.
"You must come with me to meet the elder demon bat." - Chief demon bat
After the Chief demon bat said this Ren walked behind the Chief demon bat and after walking he was now in a completely dark part of the cave and if Ren didn't get night vision from being a dhampir/vampire he wouldn't be able to see at all. Then Ren saw a dark shadowy figure fly out then he couldn't see it and then Ren felt a piercing feeling on his neck. The piercing feeling ended after less than a second and then Ren heard.
"You taste almost like a human, but slightly different." - Elder demon bat
"I am a mix between humans and demon bats. Elder I came here to learn the ways of the demon bats." - Ren
"It has been many years since a human was actually able to learn our techniques, why should you be able to learn them?" - Elder demon bat
"I can learn your techniques because I am not 100% a human, remember I am part demon bat." - Ren
"Even if you can learn our techniques, why should I teach you? If you truly want to learn our techniques you must go through a multitude of difficult tests to see if you are worthy." - Elder demon bat
"Yes, I truly want to learn the ways of the demon bats." - Ren
"Then follow me." - Elder demon bat

SilverSerpent The next few chapter will be about getting tested. I am thinking of making a total of three tests and then the Mc will either begin to train in senjutsu or he will learn some of the demon bat clan's techniques. Also he will probably reach the third rank of the vampire path after all these tests.
