Chapter 31: Learning Wind Jutsu
After Kazuma (Furido)had been hit by the blood dragon he could no longer fight and only after a few short moments he had died. Now that Kazuma (Furido) was dead Ren would normally absorb his body, but Ren's paths weren't high enough to absorb the body or soul. Even though Ren couldn't absorb the body or soul he could save the body until his paths were high enough and he used his Soul healing technique to absorb the soul and use it to increase his vitality. Ren still felt that it was a waste because with the soul healing method he only absorbed 10% of the soul before it went to the afterlife.
When Ren was storing the body he also stored all of Kazuma (Furido)'s weapons because they were made of chakra metal and in the future would probably give him tons of points. After the soul was absorbed Ren checked to see how much his vitality increased and noticed that it was now at 130. Now that the fight was over Ren decided that he would take Sora back with him to the cave he stayed at previously, Ren didn't think that the monks would care much about Sora leaving because they had treated Sora like Naruto before he saved the village.
The only reason Ren didn't really want to take Sora with him was that he had to also teleport Sora with him because of the barrier so it would cost him 2,000 points to get both of them passed the barrier, but Ren still took Sora with him out of the monastery. It took Ren almost two hours to get back to the cave because Sora was still hurt and his speed was a lot less than Ren's speed. Now that Ren was back at the cave he told Ranmaru and Raiga to go out and find more bandit groups and this time around he told them to bring the bandits back to the cave instead of Ren having to go out and kill the bandits. While Raiga and Ranmaru were going to do that Ren decided that he would try to sense if he still had the connection with Yoroi or he had already died.
When Ren tried to sense the connection with Yoroi he noticed that Sora's connection was slightly higher than everyone else's and thought it was because his vampire blood was 5% more concentrated than when he turned everyone else. After almost a minute Ren was able to sense the connection with Yoroi and noticed that he was still alive, so what Ren decided to do was connect to Yoroi and see if he learned anything important. When Ren had connected to Yoroi he saw that Yoroi was on the run and learned that he was currently trying to run away from Orochimaru.
So what Ren decided to do was make Yoroi tell him all of the important information he learned and once he was told whatever Yoroi learned he killed Yoroi and then absorbed him with All Existence, which got him 9,000 more points. What Ren had learned from Yoroi was how Orochimaru extended his body, a very basic description of how the curse mark works, and he also learned where some of Orochimaru's base was other than the sound village. Now that Ren had finished digesting the information that Yoroi gave him he went over to Sora and decided that he would use two days to try and learn some of Sora's wind jutsu and some of his beast-like jutsu.
This time around Ren remembered that he could use his blood clones to transfer experiences and so he made ten of them to learn wind jutsu while he bought the method for rank 2 of the soul-devouring and soul path (-10,000 points per path). During the next two days, Ren was able to learn that blood clones only had 50% of his comprehension, but with ten clones learning techniques it was still like five Rens were trying to learn jutsu. This was also Ren's first time trying to learn jutsu that he didn't have any affinity with and he realized how helpful it was to have an affinity with a jutsu because it was a lot harder to control the wind chakra.
During the two days Ren was able to get the devouring soul path to rank 2, the reason he could do it so fast was that his stats were already higher than what the path would give him and he had a lot more experience with souls from absorbing part of Kazuma (Furido)'s soul. The blood clones that were learning wind jutsu and Sora's beast jutsu were only able to learn three jutsu and this was mainly because Ren had very high chakra control. The first jutsu he learned was great breakthrough jutsu, this jutsu allowed Ren to release powerful winds from his mouth and send it forward.
The second jutsu was air bullet jutsu, this allowed Ren to shoot multiple powerful bullets of air. The third and last jutsu that Ren was able to learn was one of Sora's own jutsu, the jutsu was the beast tearing palm, this jutsu made a blade-like wave of chakra when Ren swung his hand and Ren was able to control the wave of chakra. During these two days, Ren had also comprehended half of the soul path and Ren also continued to absorb more soil and bugs. After these two days, Raiga and Ranmaru were able to bring ten genin bandits and three chunin level bandits to the cave. All of these bandits were already dead, so Ren wasn't able to absorb their souls, but Ren still got 105,000 points from these bandits.
Now that Ren had that many points he also bought the method to get to rank two of the ghoul path for only 10,000 points. Now that Ren had all these points he also bought chakra paper from All Existence for 100 points each for Ranmaru, and Kimimaro so he could know what jutsu would be best for them. From the chakra paper, Ren learned that Ranmaru only had water affinity and Kimimaro had both wind and fire affinity. Since Ren knew this he had Ranmaru learn some water jutsu from Raiga and Kimimaro learn wind release from Sora, Ren also had Kimimaro learn how to handle swords from Raiga because he could make his bones into swords.
Now that everyone was doing something Ren decided that the next thing he would do was go to the land of bears. The reason Ren was going to go to the land of bears was because he wanted to go to the village hidden in the stars and when he was there he wanted to see if he could use the meteorite that landed there to get stronger.
