Chapter 26: Kidnapping Ranmaru and Raiga
When the DNA fused with Ren's it felt completely different from when he got the ketsuryūgan because he fused the eyes when he pulled them out. After the fusion went on for a few seconds Ren felt that he could now see and manipulate his body on a molecular level. The whole process cost Ren 2,000 points and now he had 14,070 points in total, the reason this was so inexpensive was that Ren brought Sakon and Ukon's DNA and if he didn't it would be many times more expensive. After doing this Ren tried to adapt to how the Kekkei Genkai worked and got a basic understanding of it, so he decided to see what would happen if he tried to fuse his DNA with Kimimaro's without the help of All Existence.
When Ren tried to do this a mindless clone of Kimimaro appeared out of his torso and only this mindless clone could use the Kekkei Genkai, when Ren was still with the endless clone he decided to ask All Existence to fuse his the DNA needed for Kimimaro's Kekkei Genkai with his. When the fusion began to happen Ren felt pain all over his body and his physique began to change to one more similar to Kimimaro's. This process lasted for a whole hour but it was totally worth it for Ren because after the fusion ended Ren felt that he could now make bones anywhere on his body and control the density of calcium in the bones.

Now that Ren had Sakon and Ukon's, and Kimimaro's Kekkei Genkai he decided to stop the genjutsu on Kimimaro, and then he sent him and Kimimaro outside of the crimson world. Once they were outside of the crimson world Ren told Kimimaro that he has to now always use transformation jutsu unless he says otherwise, and Ren also told Kimimaro not to reveal his Kekkei Genkai unless he is sure that once he does so he can get rid of the people around. After Ren gave Kimimaro basic commands for safety he also made multiple blood clones to try to absorb the consciousness of Orochimaru in the curse seal.
The reason why Ren used clones to absorb the consciousness was that he didn't think his soul-devouring path was strong enough to get rid of the consciousness without any side-effects. Whenever Ren was losing control of the clone to Orochimaru's consciousness he destroyed the clones and they didn't transfer any of the side-effects to him, only the pain and experiences of the clone. After continuing this process for the few hours Ren asked All Existence if Orochimaru still had an influence on Kimimaro because of the curse mark and he got told that.
『Orochimaru can still influence Kimimaro, but the influence will be very minor compared to before』
Now that Ren knew that Orochimaru didn't have that much influence on Kimimaro he decided to tell Kimimaro to go to the Katabami Gold Mine in the land of rivers and try to track down Ranmaru and Raiga then bring him back to the cave. After Ren told Kimimaro to do this he left the cave and began to go to the land of rivers. Now that Ren was alone he decided that he needed to learn some techniques related to shikotsumyaku because it would help get past someone's defenses.
Ren spent the next few days learning/making techniques about the shikotsumyaku and ended up learning four new techniques in total. The first technique that Ren learned was bone transformation jutsu, which would allow him to actually change his bone structure and when it was used with the Blood transformation jutsu and regular transformation jutsu Ren could look like a completely different person and his physical body would almost actually be that of a different person's. The second technique that Ren learned was Outer bone armor jutsu, this jutsu basically made an armor of bone right under all of Ren's skin and this would both protect Ren from damage and would power up all of Ren's attacks that used his physical body.
The third technique that Ren learned was bone senbon jutsu, this jutsu was very basic but was very good at piercing defenses, all it did was make senbon out of bones a lot more dense than normal. The last technique that Ren learned was bone spear jutsu which could let Ren make bones in the shape of spears appear out of anywhere on his body. After Ren learned all of these techniques Kimimaro had ended coming back with an unconscious Ranmaru and Raiga, so Ren decided that now he would get his dojutsu.
Even though Ren wanted his dojutsu, Ren wasn't going to kill Ranmaru because he decided that Ranmaru could be helpful in the future for doing tasks that Ren would think is a waste of time. The way Ren was going to get the dojutsu was by getting a vial of blood that had Ranmaru's DNA and then fuse it with his eyes. Once Ren was ready he took his eyes out of the socket and then put both of them in a vial with Ranmaru's blood. After they were both in a vial of blood Ren told All Existence to fuse the DNA needed for Ranmaru's dojutsu into his eyes.
This time around it cost Ren a lot more to get Ranmaru's dojutsu because Ren's eyes already possessed the ketsuryūgan, the cost was 4,000 points and now Ren had a total of 10,070 points. After the fusion ended Ren put the eyes back in his socket and then used blood healing to reconnect the eye to the nerves. Once the eyes were connected to his nerves again he heard All Existence say.

Now that Ren's dojutsu was stronger it now gave him a penetrating vision like the byakugan without the 360 degree range, gave access to a very strong genjutsu, allowed him to sense someone with chakra from a very far away distance, and the ability to detect if someone is still alive.
