It's been two weeks since I saw my mother, I could still hear her screaming from the house. The man who sat opposite me came in and claimed to be my father, my mother didn't deny it. She couldn't look at my face but she looked at him with fear. I didn't feel any empathy for her when he took me away, I wanted to cry and scream for her as she but I couldn't. I couldn't feel her pain. Of course, I miss her, I wanted to see her face and hear her voice. This was the longest we have ever stayed apart. Glazing at the man in front of me, he was tapping the oak desk slowly looking at me. He was my father, I looked like him. We had the same empty eyes. We were from the same blood, cold and soulless.
