Chapter 3 < Supreme >
Boom!
The spear head formed a small dragon swirling around by the sheer amount of power. Ready to devour it's target. It hit the book and made it's impact.
Dingg!
It was like hitting a large bell, The sound it produced was reverberatingly loud and a gust of wind followed, Tugging the young man's robe revealing what's underneath.
The man was wearing a silver chest plate with grey cotton shirt and a belt with different kinds of strange tools, wraped around his waist.
Kacha!
The young man's spear finally gave up and it's tip broke with a crisp sound. The young man was shocked as his eyes grew larger. He couldn't believe his eyes.
The spear head was made using a dragon scale he found accidentaly on his travel. And he especially ask a very talented blacksmith to produce this kind of masterpiece.
It's scale was so tough that it took nearly 21 days for it to completely melt and another 5 days to mend it's form.
On its completion, It was even able to withstand a blow from a lvl 4 advanced master and easily cut a diamond block in half as if it was butter.
He had no slightest expectation that the spear head would get broken. Because he was very confident of it's durability was among the best.
But against the book, It was like thrusting a twig at an Iron shield. It easily snapped and crashed the spear.
The young man losts his grip and retracted his arm as he leaps backward. Leaving the broken spear in front of him shattered. It aches his heart after losing his favorite weapon.
But to his dismay, The force he exerted on the spear fired back on his arm, Destroying it entirely. Blood gushed out dyeing most of his arm red.
He saw this but he seem to be devoid of any pain.
Not until a while later, The pain kicked in and he succumb to an excruciatingly pain on his arm.
AHHHHGG!
The beast who was watching intently at the scene, Widen it's eyes in disbelief. It couldn't help but giggle in excitement watching the man in agonizing pain.
It's intelligent was comparabe to a human, It understood that the book was far more tougher and stronger than the spear and it's wielder, and even him.
It couldn't fathom how a worn out non-impressive looking book, Dispelled the powerful force of the spear that was coming at it and even shattered it into pieces.
But It was delighted at the thought that the book might be there to aid him and gain him back his freedom.
Rulle watching this, A look of surprise was seen on his scaled face. It was truly an unexpectes sight. And from a moment ago he was even afraid when the book acted on it's own will.
It was apparent to him earlier that it was trying to kill him. But fortunately, That's not what it was trying to do.
Not even a small scratch was made from where the spear hit the book. And this made him sigh in relief.
He now believes there must be some kind of reason that prompt the book to take action on defending the beast taking the spear head on.
The book's toughness was far beyond his imagination. "What kind of material was used to produce such an indestructable book" He wonders.
"It's just a matter of time until i figure out the true power of this book." He thought grinning while watching the spectacle. This made him more keen in learning the book. As there's still a curtain of mystery lingering around it, Waiting for someone to unveil it's secrets.
Just the fact that he was able to take over this Scaled sloth's conciousness proves to be one of it's powers. And he believes there's no way that's the only power it got.
The young man took a few minutes to recover back from his self. As he tried to look at the book in front of him while gritting his teeth.
Boom!
To his shock, The book was so imposing as it released a brilliant glow of white light. It was so radiant and brimming with energy, Enveloping the book's entire body as it gives off a feeling of holliness.
It was like, A powerful deity that's descending to the world to bring the sought peace and judgment to any evil.
It was like the heaven itself was infront of him. He was afraid and ashamed to even look at it due to his impurities.
The presence made him and the beast shiver in fear. He unconciously staggered and falls lying on the ground flat.
He was still conscious, But a force was preventing him to move. And all he could do was tremble on the ground, Helplessly.
A few meters away, A Scaled sloth was in agape. Rulle couldn't believe at what he was seeing. He never thought it could do that either. Although strangely, He wasn't affected by the book's presence.
He thought maybe because it was his own. But he still couldn't help but think how and why did his soul end up living and possesing this strange but all mighty book.
Deep in his thoughts, He frowned as he noticed a familiar figure inside the sloth's head.
It was the scaled sloth's soul floating unconciously in an empty black space. Drooling and mumbling on it's sleep.
He couldn't explain how it was doing there and how he was able to see this. Everything was practically new to him.
Curioused, Rulle wished to get closer. And to his surprise, He was able to form his own body out from his own conciousness in this space.
He was slowly getting familiar as he makes his approached on the sleeping sloth.
The sloth wasn't aware of it's intruder's presence and it continued it's snoring.
But just as Rulle was a few inches closer, He noticed something shiny on the creature's forehead.
Upon closer inspection, It was a pea-sized shiny blue orb. He tried to grab it but to his dismay, A kick was suddenly flying straight to his face.
"what"
It was a direct hit and the foot sunk deeper unto his face. And sent him flying out of the sloth's consciousness and body. And it immediately sent him back at the book.
"F*CK!" Rulle cussed out so loud thinking of the annoying sloth's face. The book shook in responds to his emotion as the earth below trembled lightly.
He was so weak compared to the sloth and he was even caught off guard having no time to react and defend himself.
Now his mind at this point is filled with so many malicious ways to murder that creature.
Then suddenly to his surprise, he was sent back at the creature's body once again.
He has no clue how despite it's distance he was able to still posses the Scaled sloth. But he shrugged it off for now as he was occupied at the thought of a sweet revenge.
Rulle went back to the sloth's conciousness and found him lying down snoring defenselessly without having a slightest idea at what just happened.
The beast and the young man was shivering non stop. Until they heard the book cuss and this made their heart skipped a beat in fright. They didn't think the book could speak, much less cussed out. This further proves that the being infront of them was anything extraordinary.
They thought something must've displeased the supreme being in front of them. For it to speak in a foul word. But they couldn't think of any reason. Their mind were in shumbles and disoriented.
But then the young man suddenly remembered, How he tried to dig a hole on the book a few moments earlier. And this made his face lose all of it's color.
The beast saw this and it snickered in delight having thought the same as the young man. It was finally time to make him pay for the price of making him suffer, The beast thought in anticipation.
But that ended soon when a second later, The book cussed out loud again.
"Oh!. Im gonna sh*ting cook you alive! you stinkin animal!"
The beast's soul leapt in fright at what it heard. As he felt the words were pointing directly at him. It scanned It's body from his toe to It's chest. Then it gulped a mouthful amount of saliva.
The young man recovered a bit from it's fright and washed in relief after he heard the words were directed at the beast. Maybe the reason why it tried to defend the beast was because it wants to kill it and eat it by itself, He thought.
Then the book sounded again:
" Gah! That's it ! Im gonna drain you from all your blood for the pain you've caused me! "
That's when the young man's heart sunk even deeper after hearing this.
"Your meat will make a good smell after i roast you!!"
Then the beast paled again.
" I will grind you to ashes! "
The young man shooked.
"I will skin you alive!"
This continued for half an hour.
"DDIIIEEE!!!"
Until their hearts couldn't handle the shock anymore. The beast and the young man passed out on the ground unconsciously.
