Chapter 15: Goodbye Mrs.Doll
"Does my sugar daddy performance satisfy you now?" Clara smirking.
The man was getting more pale hearing her words. His legs were trembling while his pants were soaked by his pee.
"Lame" Clara muttered.
Seeing Lucas walking toward her, Clara exclaimed happily.
"D-A-D-D-Y. You re so awesome." She giggled like a child. She playfully hit Lucas chest which makes his face blushing more.
"Lets go daddy!" She clinging into his arm once again and begin walking toward the stair into the 1st floor. Arrived at the 1st floor, Clara still didn't release Lucas arm to avoid unnecessary troubles like before. Seeing that the beauty is already taken, many men only glanced sharply at Lucas.
'What a bastard lucky guy' They thought unisonly.
While Clara heart calm as serene, Lucas heart was beating faster. The glare of all men were making him nervous despite the good fighting skill Lucas had. Meanwhile Kevin can only grumpy all of the time seeing the closeness between Clara and Lucas.
'I'm gonna beat this guy up, if my body goes back!!' Kevin thought angrily.
Exiting the bar Clara finally released his arm. Lucas sigh of relief but also a bit disappointed because the feeling of softness in his arm was gone. Lucas turned his head to Clara only to find she also staring at him.
"Why are you looks disappointed?" Clara asked innocently.
Hearing her words Lucas panicked immediately.
"Uh..uh..Its okay Young Miss, i was just a bit disappointed because i didn't beat that guy completely." Lucas lying while stammering at first.
"Oh..Its okay. Its just some annoying flies that doesnt need any our consent." She seems believed his words. Lucas sigh of relief seeing his lie was working.
'I'm sorry young miss. Its my first day working yet i'm already lying toward you' Lucas subconsciously thought.
"Ummm where should we go?" Clara asked Lucas.
"We will go to your inn now. I'll wait you outside, then from there we can go to my house." Lucas said after thinking for a while.
"Okay." Clara nodded.
20 minutes later they arrived at Clara inn.
"I'll wait for you here young miss." Clara nodded before entered the inn.
*clink* *clink*
Like before, the usual bellboy were not present. Because a voodoo encounter, Clara was afraid that the bellboy were also got the same curse as her. So she decided to ask the owner about bellboy whereabout. She appeared infront the office room and knocked it twice.
*Knock* *Knock*
"Come in" Someone shouted from inside.
Clara immediately entered. Inside of the room was a small office that only had half size of her room. The interior of room is entirely black. The light were also dim. For a commoner to see at this condition was purely hard. But Clara is different, she is a magician. She got all her sense improved. So whether it's dark or bright she can see without any hindrance. There are many strange words that muraled on the walls.This make Clara suspicious arose, but she need more proof before came into the conclusion.
Clara only glanced it briefly before returning her sight on the desk front her. There sat the owner with her grey hair that striking. She glanced at Clara before asking.
"Is there something you need miss?" She asked gently. Her voice was so soothing that if Clara met her before seeing those wall. Clara would definitely thought her as a gentle woman. But now Clara couldn't help but wary of her. Clara didnt show it though, she still replied normally like she always did.
"Nothing mam. I just want to ask about the boy that always standing in front of the door. Is he getting some kind of sick?"
The owner narrowed her eyes at Clara before replied.
"Why are you asking?"
"Well.. He always greet me before. So its kind of weird not seeing him before and after i go." Clara pretend not noticing the owner narrowed eyes.
Hearing Clara answer, the owner eyes returned to normal again. She then answered.
"He only got sick recently. Now excuse me, if you dont have any urgent matter let me finish my work first." She shooed Clara away with work excuses.
"Okay..OH i almost forgot. Mam, i have to leave the inn right now. My friend is waiting outside. So here's the paying." She took out out 20 copper and placed it on the desk before her.
The owner glanced at the copper then Clara. She only briefly answered.
"Okay. Thank you for have stayed at this inn."
"You're welcome" Clara then walked out from the room. She proceed toward her room to pack all her things. Arriving at the front door of her room Clara heaved a sigh.
'This will be the last time i see you, fcking voodoo!!'
Clara opened the door and merely glanced at the doll that seems have changed the position. The last time she saw the doll was in front of the mirror. Now she were in her bed.She heaved a sigh once again and decided to ignore it despite wanting to throw it away out of impulse. Her things were not so many afterall. So after short of time she already packed up all her things. She then wear a coat and scarf because outside was so chilly. Before leaving the room, she looked up at her room once again to check whether she forget something or not. Seeing nothing is forgotten she walked out and waved her hands toward the room but her aim was the doll itself.
'Goodbye Mrs Doll.' She thought happily.
She crossed her arm on the back of her head while whistled on the middle of walking to outside. Kevin was now placed in her bag so all her hands were free. Arriving at outside she spotted Lucas immediately.
"Lets go" She speak to Lucas.
"Yes young miss. Let me lead the way."
With that both of them walking into the direction of Lucas house.
