Weltfeuer
Hello! This chapter won't be the story it will just explain a lot about the story and other information.
First off, I am the only one working on Weltfeuer which means I have no one to edit, proofread, etc. Because I am working solo it will take me longer to post chapter because I will have to edit and make sure it is bearable to read. Not only is that an issue but because of work and family, I won't have much time to write. Because of those problems, I may only be able to post once or twice a week. I hate waiting long to read a single chapter from a web novel but I want to have quality over quantity and I believe you do as well so please bear with it. Moving on from releases; this is my first story in the war genre so don't expect much from the first few chapters. I also don't have much writing experience so I welcome any criticism so I can learn and get better.
Now the important information about the story. This story will be about the entirety of the world starting from the American Civil War (hopefully) to the end of the 20th century. Because I have the story going through almost 2 centuries of history I won't be able to have a human protagonist or antagonist, so I decided to have the story focus on large battles, events, the stories of people in the events/battles, and going into depth of what each side had, including guns, vehicles, generals, strategies, terrain advantages, and disadvantages and perhaps even more if I go full time on this. As mentioned before there will be no protagonist, which means I will focus on generals and leaders of nations but some leaders will most likely have more development and more time put into them but that doesn't mean they are immortal and will die. This entire story is a realistic war and politics novel, not a romance story, a supernatural story, and will feature gorey descriptions of war, realities of socialism and the brutalities of fascism, and the horrors of war. If you are under the age of 14 I would not suggest this to you.
Extra Information. Each chapter will most likely be 2000 - 4000 words long, depends on what happens in that chapter. If I am inaccurate with weapon names, power, politics, warfare, or anything else please correct me by commenting. I will edit my mistake as soon as I can. If there is anything you would like to add to the story such as a side story or extra information about a specific event, please message me or leave a comment. I may add a map showing the global terrain and borders with a map update every 10 chapters if this novel gets popular enough for me to put extra time into it.
