Chapter 72: Comments
Sabrina woke up feeling energized. She stretched her arms and looked around the room that was lit brightly by the sun.
"Good morning!" she said and smiled. She recalled the events that happened yesterday. She lifted her hand and looked at her finger.
She was wearing a ring.
"Thank God it wasn't a dream," she sighed in relief. She smiled and rubbed the ring on her finger lovingly.
Yesterday was the happiest day of her life. It was her fairytale come true with the man she loved, Alexander Grande.
While she was busy staring at her engagement ring, the door of her room suddenly burst open. Sabrina jumped in shock and turned her head to the door immediately.
"Are you aware of what's happening back in City A?" Kenzie asked restlessly, she was catching her breath.
Sabrina raised her brows, "Why what's happening?" she asked innocently.
"Reporters from City A have been ringing my phone non-stop!" Kenzie exclaimed in frustration, "You should check your phone," she said.
Sabrina turned to the side table of her bed and grabbed her phone. She opened it immediately and her eyes instantly grew wide.

Sabrina suddenly got up and rubbed her eyes with the unbelievable amount of notifications she had. She unlocked her phone and scrolled through her messages.
It was mostly from different news outlets back in City A. There were also messages from different stations, asking her guest on their TV shows. Then some were from her friends back in the country.
What was happening?
"Do you know that I can't use my phone properly right now?" Kenzie pointed at her phone which rang once again, "See?!" she exclaimed.
Thinking of possible reasons, Sabrina instantly remembered what she did yesterday. She opened her instagram account immediately and went straight to her profile.

She immediately clicked on the picture she just uploaded yesterday. Her eyes grew when she saw how many people had commented on the post.

Sabrina gulped.
She clicked on the comments and started to read them one by one.
"OMG! GODDESS SABRINA IS NOW ENGAGED!?!?!"
"Is it just me or the man beside her is CEO Alexander Grande?"
"It is Alexander Grande! Look at the tag!"
"That's impossible! CEO Grande wouldn't lay his eyes on a celebrity like her! This is obviously photoshopped!"
"Is this a joke Sabrina? Please don't ruin CEO Grande's image like this."
"Who's ruining his image!? They look good together!"
"This is really unexpected! But I agree with the commenter above. Sabrina and CEO Grande really look good together!"
"Sabrina was just keeping quiet, who knew that she was in a relationship with a big shot?! And HECK! They're now engaged!"
"I just woke up and my baby Alexander is now taken? I'm crying!"
"What the heck is happening?! Someone please explain!"
"GUYS! Go visit CEO Grande's account! He just posted a photo!"
Upon reading that comment, Sabrina immediately visited Alexander's profile. Her hands were shaking due to nervousness.

Clicking on his profile, Sabrina's eyes immediately widened. Alexander posted a photo of Sabrina sleeping soundly on his bed. She clicked on the photo immediately.
'Soon to wake up beside this gorgeous woman everyday' Alexander captioned.
Sabrina scrolled through the comments immediately.
"CEO Grande just confirmed his relationship with Sabrina Pierce!"
"Oh my gosh! This is so sweet!"
"So they are really engaged? I' can't believe this!"
"Sabrina doesn't suit CEO Grande! She's just a low-life compared to him!"
"I thought CEO Grande was GAY! O_O"
"WHY? WHY HER CEO GRANDE? THERE ARE A LOT OF WOMEN OUT THERE WHO'S IN THE SAME STATUS AS YOU! I THOUGHT YOU HATED CELEBRITIES?"
"I will never accept this! I hated Sabrina before. I'm hating her more now!"
"How can y'all talksh*t about this couple? ARE YOU GUYS BLIND? They clearly suit each other!"
"The commenter above, I think you're the blind one! In what way do they suit each other?"
"SHUT UP GUYS! DO YOU REALLY WANT TO ANGER CEO GRANDE?"
"If I were you, I'd stop bashing Sabrina. Y'all know how CEO Grande is."
"I don't care! I'm unfollowing him now!"
Sabrina instantly threw her phone aside and covered her face, "I should've thought this through," she said.
"What do you plan now?" Kenzie sat beside Sabrina.
"I don't know," Sabrina said. She lifted her head and looked at Kenzie, "Do you think I acted rash?" she asked her.
Kenzie smiled at Sabrina, "No, not at all!" she said, "I'm actually happy that you finally had the courage to announce your relationship with Mr. Grande. But I'm a little frustrated because you didn't notify me! You could've at least let me prepare my phone!" Kenzie said.
"I'm sorry!" Sabrina apologized, "What do we do now?" she asked.
Kenzie was her best friend but she was still her manager. She should've consulted her first before she did all this. Sabrina felt guilty because she knew that Kenzie was the one who's going to suffer in handling this matter.
Kenzie sighed, "We won't do anything," she said which made Sabrina raise her brow.
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"We won't do anything," Kenzie repeated, "Let them die from curiosity. We'll stay silent. For now you focus on your movie first, we'll answer their questions when we get back to City A. I will also notify Grey to do the same," she added.
"It's best that you guys stay low-key for now," Kenzie said.
Sabrina hugged Kenzie, "I'm sorry for giving you stress," she said, "I should've consulted you first," she added.
Kenzie patted her back, "Don't worry, I already expected this. I know that your relationship with Mr. Grande isn't a small issue, that's why I drafted a few plans on my mind in advance on how to handle this matter," she said.
"Thank you Kenzie! You're the best manager and the best friend in the whole world!" Sabrina hugged Kenzie tighter. She was really lucky to have her.
Inside Crook Residences.
"What are you looking at Daniel? Can't you respect the food?" said Grandfather Sebastian.
"Alexander just got engaged Gramps," Daniel answered while he continued to scroll on his phone.
All of the people that were currently sitting on the dining table stopped eating upon hearing what Daniel said.
"What did you just say?" Michael Crook, Alexander's father asked.
"I said that Alexander just got engaged," he repeated. Daniel lifted his phone and passed it to Michael.
Michael's expression was unexplainable. A look of pain and disbelief was written on his face.
"He didn't even inform us," he smiled sadly, "Do you hate me that much son?" he whispered.
