Chapter 224: I will go

Sweat was beading on Xuxu's brow. He already knew that he stood no chance against this strange shadowy figure. This man, being, the thing had strung him along this entire time!

But it also wasn't the hour to be defeatist. 

Xuxu gulped, feeling as though his entire life led to this very point. 

The dark figure loomed before him and for a moment there was but the gusting wind and the distant echoes of the chaos Xuxu had left behind. There wasn't time to think about that.

Xuxu took a deep breath before charging like a bull. He held his hand into the seal that He Nao taught him. As he approached the figure he darted to the left, as though to run around his enemy without actually facing him. 

Golden glitter shattered against an invisible barrier.

It worked! Xuxu thought with glee, whatever weird power that the figure worked had to do with manipulating that strange golden sparkle. But Xuxu managed to block it with his barrier!
