Chapter 41: The fuming girl.

Peter was about to leave the cabin when he was reminded of something. He turned back. "By the way, there is an invitation from Lincoln University as they are organising the Fundraiser. He said.

"I'll tell you later about this." Alex said holding his pen, signing some papers.

"Alright then, I'll take my leave. And relax she's fine now." Peter said closing the door behind him.

"How can I be at ease?" He asked himself.

Meanwhile,

Cafeteria.

Mia was busy sipping her coffee with her friend Julia when someone called her from behind. "Hey Mia."

"Well hello there, stranger!" The girl glared at him.

Julia whispered in Mia's ear. "Look your lover boy is here." she chuckled.

Rolling her eyes at her the girl replied. "I'm fine."

"Sooo.. any plans for Fundraiser?" He asked.

"I don't..." She was interrupted by Julia. "She's with me."

"Take me also." The boy said in a pleading way.

"We'll think about it." The girl said giving the boy a weak smile.

"Cupcake please....." The boy acted cute.

Hearing his words the girl raised her eyebrows. "What did you call me?"

"Cup..." He couldn't even complete the sentence when the girl stood up from her seat with a dark expression on her face.

"Don't you dare call me by such names. Don't you think you are crossing your limits?" The girl lashed out at him, taking the boy by surprise. Everyone now turned towards them looking at the girl shouting at the boy.

"Let's leave Mia, we have to go to the library. By bye Jim." Julia took the girl away from the cafeteria leaving the boy dumbfounded.

Mia was quite famous in her college due to her good looks but most importantly she was a topper in her college. Other than studies the girl was also known due to her polite nature. Boys were crazy for her and Jim was one of them.

Though he didn't approach the girl directly but it was very obvious for people to know this. She didn't bother it since he never made advances towards her. But today he approached the girl and even dared to call her 'Cupcake.'
