Chapter 2: Village Chief Xiao
The little beauty was shy being called a beauty so she look down and immediately shake her head left and right before looking at Jun Xie once again then realize that Jun Xie is more beautiful and graceful like a fairy which made her in daze and seeing the daze expression on the little beauty Jun Xie brought her face close to the daze beauty with a smile.
"Little beauty please tell me why did you call out to me?" asked Jun Xie with a smile which made the little beauty cough in embarrassment and decide to talk.
"Well big sister my name is Xiao Lan and our Xiao Village is not used to strangers so if you want to enter you have to first state your business before you can enter." replied Xiao Lan.
"Well Xiao Lan my name is Jun, Jun Feng Ling and I want to settle in Xiao Village that's my purpose of visit." said Jun Xie with a wry smile (damn I almost told her my real name if the Xiao village learn of my real identity they won't let me live in their village they might even flee from fear haha).
"Well that can be arrange looking at Sister Jun's attire you look like a lady from a noble's lineage." said Xiao Lan while looking at Jun Xie from top to bottom and thinking that Jun Xie looks so beautiful that it might make the young men in Xiao Village disturb her daily.
"Sister Jun I will take you to my father so follow be closely because father is the Village Chief so I will let you to talk it out before settling in the village." said Xiao Lan and walking towards the entrance of Xiao Village while Jun Xie follow from behind.
Jun Xie and Xiao Lan walk together towards the Village Chief's house near the center of the village during their walk a lot of men and women was in daze looking at Jun Xie's beautiful and fairy like aura while Xiao Lan talk about everything that the village have and warn her to be careful about the boys who likes pretty girls.
Which just made Jun Xie laugh in her mind and they arrived at the Village Chief's house and Xiao Lan let Jun Xie in and they saw a middle age man with a handsome looks raven hair sitting on the chair while reading made Xiao Lan stop.
"Father sorry to interrupt your reading but I brought a new friend of mine she is Jun Feng Ling she want to have permission to live in our Xiao Village and I think that it's better for the both of you to talk about it." said Xiao Lan.
"Well Xiao Lan you can go do what you need to do while I talk with you friend." said Chief Xiao with a smile towards his daughter Xiao Lan before Xiao Lan bow her head and look at Jun Xie with a smile before leaving to place her basket of fruits in the kitchen.
"Well miss Jun my name is Xiao Feng and as you already heard I am the village Chief you can call me Chief Xiao or Xiao Feng I won't dilly dally and will ask you straightforwardly why do you want to settle in our village looking at your attire I am sure you can live in the city right?" asked Xiao Feng.
"Well Chief Xiao I want to settle in Xiao Village for one reason that is to retire and enjoy a life freely that is my only reason oh and I am also a martial artist I can do heavy labor for the village" said Jun Xie with a slight smile and take a rock in her pocket and crush it with her bare hand which made Xiao Feng raise his eyebrow in surprise and wonder what kind of retirement does a young girl like Jun Xie needs she is clearly young than I am.
"Well your reason is fine but while you are in the village I expect that you will behave and not do anything that will harm your fellow villagers but if they are intentional you can fight back and I will help mediate for you, you can live in the house near the forest I believe since you are a martial artist it will be beneficial for you to live there are a lot of small animals there you can hunt for yourself." said Xiao Feng.
"Thank you Chief Xiao" said Jun Xie with a smile.
"Well you can ask Xiao Lan to take you to your new home I will continue my reading." said Xiao Feng.
