Chapter 15: Plans and Lesson
Ren checked his body with mental imaging and he could see his heart producing the electric current running into his body. His muscles are much more finer now and his heart's muscles improved as well.
He didn't try to will the lightning in his body currently because he had just finished training with the poison. The electric current running in his body is currently docile so he just lets it be at the moment. He is currently tired from all the training he did earlier.
Taking his mind off of it, he ate his share of fish and went home with Yoruichi.
A week have passed and a young man is training outside the mushroom house while the cat and a toad is watching the young man in entertainment. If someone is watching from afar, they could see the young man fighting with a kid with electric arcs surrounding their body, but if they come and watch closer, they could see that the man is fighting with not a real person but just an image.
Ren's imaging is so realistic that he is covered in wounds but whenever he takes a deep breath, all of the superficial wounds in his body are gone.
A toad and a cat were watching all of this in the roof of their house. Ren and Yoruichi's relation with Elder Shima have gone for the better. His relationship with Elder Shima is good because she supported Ren's freedom but his relationship with Jiraiya and the other toads are currently strained at the moment.
"Every time I see it, I just couldn't believe my eyes. Many shinobis have tried training themselves with clones but they all failed because of the clone's poor durability. But Ren is training with someone he created with his imagination and his results are getting better and better." Elder Shima said.
When she first learned about Ren fighting an image of an octopus monster from Gamakikyo, she didn't believe it, but when she was the one who delivered the daily necessities to Ren's house, she was shocked because what Gamakikyo have said is true. She had seen Ren fighting with the octopus monster and Ren was outclassed in every way possible but what shocked Elder Shima more was that, when she took a closer look at the octopus monster, she realized that it was just Ren's imaging.
"Mm. He's getting better and better at controlling the lightning inside of him." Yoruichi nodded and Ren finally managed to score a hit to Killua.
Ren stopped his training and looked up and saw that Elder Shima is holding on to a basket alongside Yoruichi. They dropped down and looked at the battered and exhausted Ren who is sitting on the floor. Elder Shima threw a water flask to Ren and he caught it easily.
"Thank you." Ren said and Elder Shima nodded.
Ren's training for the past week is very helpful to him, he could now will his poison and lightning to come out whenever he wants. He had integrated poison in his fighting style.
"So? What are you planning on doing now? You said that it will take awhile before the land you prepared is ready for planting." Elder Shima asked. Ever since that day she supported Ren on his freedom to choose the path he wanted, the Great Sage had a headache and told the two elders that he could not see Ren's future anymore causing Elder Fukasaku to be shocked while Elder Shima seems a little relieved.
When asked about the reason why she was relieved, she said that a youngster like Ren should do what he wants and explore the world on his own. Its his right to create his own future.
"We, toads, have been divining the future to prevent future mishaps. Ren right now is an unstable element in the future." The great sage asked. Although he had already made his mind not to force the prophecy onto Ren, the Great Sage is curious why Elder Shima has been overprotective on the boy.
"Its simple really. Ren is a good child. His heart is at peace. As long as he could maintain peace in his own heart, even if the outside world try to taint his heart with human desires, he would not easily give in as he have some sort of rules he applies to himself and would never break it at all cost." Elder Shima said confidently which surprised the Great Sage about Shima's words.
"It seems like time have caught up to me." The Great Sage chuckled before waving the two elders off.
After learning about the Great Sage's dilemma, Elder Shima went to inform him about it while Yoruichi had a smile on her face. She had always believed that Ren is someone who can't be tied to fate and such.
"Yes, the lands would take a while before being ready to be planted. I would like to ask about the outside world before determining my next steps." Ren said to Elder Shima.
"It would at most take you 3 days to teach you and I don't know how you will adapt to a brand new world outside of Mount Myoboku, would you still like to know about it?" Elder Shima asked. The outside world is cruel and she would explain everything to Ren to avoid mishap.
"Yes, tell me everything." Ren nodded making Ren's lesson start right away after hearing Ren's answer.
"The outside world is not safe right now because we are in a great war, the second shinobi world war to be exact. Do you know why the war happened? Its simple, its because of human greed. The greed to take over lands and increase their territory, maybe to use it for agriculutural purpose, or just wanted to cause trouble. You don't have to worry though, the second world war has reached its conclusion so I think exploring should be safe for the time being but you must never let your guard down..." Elder Shima's lesson continued as she taught Ren about the timeline, about the ninjas, chakra and ninjutsu.

The timeline is out, the current timeline is the end of the second shinobi world war. I have seen the list of deaths in the second world war and had seen Sakumo(Kakashi's father) in the list and would like to remove him from the list and make him hold out for much longer. His suicide would be stopped by you know who. So consider this a spoiler alert for the future.
I'm posting this early because I need to fix my sleep schedule because currently, my normal sleep time is 6:00 am and because of that I've caught common cold and fever.
