Chapter 14: Kil
"Eh? Why should I teach you?" Yoruichi asked and stared at Ren like he's an idiot.
If Ren learned how to use Shunpo then she could not mess with him anymore. She wanted to have the advantage in terms of speed when messing with Ren and there's also one factor that wouldn't allow Ren to learn it.
"What do you mean?" Ren asked with a dumbfounded face. He thought that Yoruichi would readily teach him, but he's wrong.
"Even if I teach you Shunpo, our bodies are fundamentally different. If I'm a quincy, I could teach you, but I am different, I'm a soul reaper and you are a human, we are fundamentally different and soul reaper techniques won't benefit you... unless...." Yoruichi paused for a few moments.
"What? I need that movement technique, my teacher's techniques requires speed and he could do it because he's in that octopus form." Ren said while grumbling some other unheard words.
Ren was grumbling why does his teacher's advanced techniques needed such speed and precision. His teacher is an octopus that can move at Mach 20, it was impossible for Ren to imitate it completely. He could modify those techniques to suit himself but it would take him time to do that as he needs to practice what part of that technique would be beneficial to him and remove the factors that would put him in a disadvantage.
"Unless... you are a soul reaper as well." Yoruichi said and Ren didn't understand it.
Yoruichi sighed and said
"Soul reapers are guardians of the souls who are going through the circle of transmigration. In old times, we were known as Balancers. We purify Hollows who do evil in the World of the Living and ensure the safe crossing of souls, although I'm sure that this world does not contain Hollows, guiding the souls is still our job." Yoruichi explained to Ren who still had question marks on his face.
"How does that stop me from learning Shunpo?" Ren asked.
"Because my body is made from Reishi. I am a soul with a strong body, and you are a human through and through." Yoruichi continued.
"So does that mean I could not use your techniques since we are different?" Ren tilted his head.
"Yup. That's basically the case." Yoruichi said and she continued eating the fish she had grilled. The fish now was not bland anymore and is a little bit enjoyable because she had rubbed some salt in the fish's skin before grilling.
Ren lowered his head. He thought he could use shunpo to supplement the speed requirements that he needed but it seems like he would need to find another way to utilize his talent and thought of using the market once again. Although he needs the points to use it as his startup funds, his plan has changed, he needs to be able to protect himself before worrying about his farm.
Since what he got from Korosensei is his skills in assassination, Ren typed in assassination in the search bar and a lot of things appeared in front of him. There are weapons, consumables, traps, and techniques.
Yoruichi looked over to Ren who was holding the hoe and knew that he was using the market again.
Ren narrowed the search down to techniques and there are lots of techniques that appeared, unfortunately for Ren, all of these are useless to him. Although they are considered as techniques, they are just the basics and Ren doesn't want just the basics, he wants the whole package. So he filtered it once more.
There is only one item that appeared after filtering everything.
"Zoldyck Family Assassination legacy? Are they strong like my teacher?" Ren was confused. He didn't know about the Zoldyck family but they are a famous assassin family with weird family members.
"What are you buying?" Because Ren's back is blocking the screen, Yoruichi can't see what is bringing dilemma to Ren and asked in curiosity.
Ren moved his body to the side and let Yoruichi see about it.
"So... you want to gamble again?" Yoruichi asked in a worried tone. The last time Ren gambled with the market, he became a man who produces poison inside his body. If such a thing would happen again, Yoruichi would advise Ren to stop buying it... but after seeing the determination in Ren's eyes, she knew that Ren would gamble again.
'I want to buy it but most of my points would be spent, thankfully, I already have the poison seeds I need. Even if I buy normal seeds, my points would be enough. but still... the points...' Ren can't help but curse.
Ren felt weak after being caught off-guard by Yoruichi with shunpo, and his trump card, stun clap also needs him to fulfill some conditions before he can use it unlike shunpo whereas Yoruichi can use it whenever she wanted.
Ren gritted his teeth and bought the legacy. Ren thought that he would have to drink something and lose his consciousness once again but he only felt that the time had stopped. He could see the worried Yoruichi looking at him.
He continued looking around the place when he saw a young kid manifest in front of his eyes. He has a spiky silver hair, a very pale skin, and blue eyes. The kid's eyes are narrowed down causing Ren's danger sense to go haywire.
"Who are you?" Although Ren is pressured, he stood his ground and asked.
"Ehhhh... looks like you're not a pushover and you're an assassin as well, although you are only above average." The young kid said with a mischievous look causing Ren to flinch. He had seen that look whenever Yoruichi wants to cause troubles.
If he had the same speed as his teacher then he could utilize his teacher's advanced skills but obviously he can't, so he can only be someone above average.
"I'm not going to say anymore, but just endure." The young kid said and he vanished from his spot. Ren started looking around finding the kid and saw him at his side. The kid then poked Ren's sides and a massive burst of electricity shocked Ren's body, stimulating his muscles as well as his heart. The shock continued for almost half an hour before the young kid finished electrocuting Ren.
After being electrocuted by the young kid for a long time, Ren staggered before standing up straight, he looked at himself, his clothes, then to Yoruichi, and lastly, to the young kid.
His clothes were not destroyed by the electric current that ran through his body, that shows how fine the kid's control over electricity was. He had burn marks but he felt that his body's regenerative power is kicking in. He is surprised to see the burn marks completely going away in mere seconds and thought that he got it from his teacher's legacy. While Ren was thinking, he was brought back to reality by the kid.
"Name's Killua, my friend gave me a stupid nickname, Kil. I will teach you everything I know about assassination. You know how to do it, right?" Ren nodded to the kid named Killua before Killua disintegrated and the time resumed.
He knew what Killua is telling him, he should materialize Killua during training and he would be fighting him. He thought of the new sensation of electricity in his body and thought of inspecting his body first when he heard someone holding her laughter beside him.
"What?" Ren asked Yoruichi who can't hold her laughter anymore and pointed at his hair.
Ren's hand reached his hair and saw that his hair is standing up with a few electric sparks here and there. Ren looked at Yoruichi and thought that her standard of happiness is really low. As if knowing what Ren is thinking as she said.
"What's wrong with being happy at small things? Isn't it fine as long as you're happy?" Ren didn't say anymore and he just closed his eyes and inspected his body by creating a mental image of his body in his mind.

There are a few things I would like to clarify:
First off, for those who didn't know, I became inactive because of sh*tty wifi.
Second, the legacy he got from the Blood is different from buying the direct legacy.
Third, I will only take some part of the character's powers because taking them all is boring, if I wanted everything from Korosensei, then I should've just used him as the model, same as Killua. What I want is take some of their powers and add them to his skillset. Like Korosensei's ingenious mind, poison, techniques and high speed regeneration while I will mostly take Killua's electric nen ability for Ren.
Fourth, no there will be no nen, its structure is complicated as hell and not many people/readers have diverse knowledge about nen.
Fifth, I will be removing the exact amount of points, it's annoying keeping track of it.
