Chapter 263: Chapter 263: The scepter

Zack's POV

Within moments, the place filled with the sound of metal ripping flesh and the screams of men and women as they fought hard against each other. But by then Zack was already rushing past the corridors inside the castle, his giant paws carrying him forward in lightning speed. Out of the two centaurs that struggled to follow him, one fell under the sword of an elf and the other was far behind. 

Zack raised his nose in the air, searching for the kelpie's scent as he ran through the dimly lit stairs. Remembering that the Dragon fire rose from the north side of the castle, he took a sharp turn to his right to another winding corridor. The place was incredibly chilly for some reason, more so than when he was outside. As he neared his destination, he heard a familiar sound screaming something in a language that he didn't understand.
