Chapter 129: Chapter 129: The voices

Irina's elegant voice echoed through the class as she walked back and forth the expanse of it, correcting students on their mistakes. Girls huddled together in pairs as they practiced their defense magic arts. They were supposed to be simple spells, taught to beginners to ward off enemies. But since Elize was fully out of any form of magic, she couldn't like the other days, participate fully in the process. And like always, the instructor, this time being Irina, went easy on her. She was not required to do any spells, but only to stay attentive in the class while the instructor helped her with the practical part. For that purpose, like always, today too she was paired with Agatha, who had a serious look on her face as she tried memorizing a spell.

"You're sure about this right?" Elize asked nervously. 

"Yes, Elize. Now let me memorize this spell if you want to stay alive." The witch said, putting a hand to her head.
