I tried this novel because I'm currently enjoying reading her other work which is the Birth of a Villianess. Although the story is not bad, for some strange reason I just cannot get into the story and its not like that I'm comparing both novels its just my reaction to this is different from the other. For the leads, I somehow either do not care for one or the other, there is a rebirth but its not for the FL which I'm used to and that antagonist is one of those spoiled entitled twitches to say the least. Then there is the ML who is already so in love with the FL who was wronged accused etc. which I just cannot get into because it was initially a childhood thing but I doubt that she remembered him. So does he love her now and if so why? What is so special about this person. The FL does not give me a feeling of impact in her character, right now all I feel for her is pity. I am sure the author may have broaden her personality but at this point I'm not feeling the FL. The other characters are just characters for me. I am sure that this novel is not so bad but for me I doubt if the story will remain in my library for long. Take care and stay COVID 19 free.
