Chapter 218: Officially A Conway

Alex was getting restless without much to do. The best time to go to the MMA gym was after Claire was already home so that wasn't terribly helpful. He needed things to do during the day. 

He kept up with his GED studies even though the course was over so he wouldn't forget anything and took at least one practice test a day but it didn't feel like enough. He wanted to be able to move forward but couldn't do that until his name was officially changed. 

So the day he got the notice to come down to the courthouse and pick up his official new documentation he could hardly contain his excitement. He dressed up in his nicest clothes and took public transportation over there. 

Alex even took a selfie holding up his new birth certificate to commemorate the occasion. This was worth celebrating. He was going to take Claire out to dinner tonight!
