Chapter 13: Unlocking the Mistery
As Zash and Sylphia kept talking along the way 2 days passed in a Matter of time and soon he could see a Big temple Made mostly out of marble stones while looking old still represented the Glory of its long lost past.
Zash could make out basic knowledge as Sylphia and Zash had taught eachother these things in those few decades of conversation and learning was easier to them than anyone else.
"Hector Grieve" said the big makings making an old ancient name still untouched by the corrosion of time, maybe that's his name ?
As they entered the library and kept looking for information here and there, Zash came across a few scrolls, which seemed to be ancient long lost forging techniques and designed for weapons of mass destruction and such which would make the world go mad in hunt for them, quickly analysing the content he copied them in his brain and kept looking to see something new at the marking's which Sylphia talked about before to see a slight line passing through the floor which had a small hole into it seemingly a key hole.
"To whoever it may be fated to eh?" Smirking to himself he told about this discovery to Sylphia which surprised her to some extent as she was getting used to it in his case regardless.
"Lets look for the key then" Zash expressed to which Sylphia declined and said,
" No need I have a slight idea where it might be, you see each god has a certain way of testing his descendants and heritage holders by setting up tests Which instantly deems them worthy there's such a test in this temple, the reason I haven't gone through them is coz I am not fated for this and have not much interest in them and overall I'm a Tier 6 and a dragon so no test can stop me from destroying it to smithers, so I refrain myself from doing so" said Sylphia
" I guess being too strong has plenty of drawbacks themselves" Zash said with an awkward smile understanding what she meant.
As she took Zash to the trial area he could see plenty of carvings and mana flowing through them which certainly passed as a God's training ground.
While he got all sorts of information what amazed him the were arrays and their functions, and spellcasting for arrays they can boost your and your team's strength by a big margin while also decreasing the enemy's health and as had many usages and low ristrictions while in spellcasting you can enhance your weapons in a light layer of mana which contains arrays of spells casted upon itself making the damage critical and providing a buff effect which made the weapons more fearsome but was the passing of time they get full and nothing can save them as such as such he who spellcasts weapons should either risk it or try getting a legendary Durable weapons.
which was practically impossible for anyone considering it was impossible for people to not get Hunted by others even god's as their hunger for power even if someone gets a slight clue on gaining such weapons and such information leaked, well he should literally count his days.
As such Zash was quite interested in them as with his newfound information and Quantom creation arts he could just easily replicate legendary or higher tier materials and can use them to forge however many weapons he could once he was powerful enough the only requirement being he had to disassemble and reassemble it's properties and mana signature wile along with its components as such he should be careful with who to trust for he knew only Sylphia can be trusted in this strange world, he could make it out with just her attitude alone.
Leaving such thaughts alone for the future he looked ahead to see a few arrays etched into the whole room which was the size of a stadium, while time did indeed left it's mark on the surrounding space it was still at it's peak,
The colours Still Vibrant and statues still at their previous positions giving them an antique outlook.
He took a step in to see the whole room and every carvings and array lit up and surrounded him as Zash prepared himself for anything unexpected.
After a while light dimmed out and he saw he was on a long road which seemed to be under construction and a few people here and there walking and minding their business.
When he decided to ask system where he was it replied,
[ Host is in a Trial Land of God of literature "Hector Grieve" You are to pass a difficult set up by him to get what you may desire and a few other rewards. The rest depends on your performance and the difficult is set up taking your level into accordance you are free to use your classes and such]
After looking through the descriptions he remembered Sylphia mentioning something similar while classing up or gaining something similar these situations occurred from time to time.
Logically in these types of settings you should go to a bar and such to collect information about something odd or a sort of predicament but not him as he was free to use his class he could just take his time and leave the world to his bots.
As he created a few unnoticeable drones and sent them throughout all the nearby bars and people having conversations he set them to look out for information which may be to his use.
"Hey did you hear there's a place just opened for people to try their luck as they can get anything they want such is the price they offer they say for just a few gold. I don't think that news is true in the least as even if it was true the trial seemed harder than ever !" Said a random man to his companions in a bar.
" Oh come on you can test your skills out at least it's costing but seemed plausible and has 3 sets of difficulties which are Easy, Normal & Hard . While the normal mode gives the box that grants a wish and the easy mode gives a gold coin along with the deposited one as for the Hard mode it Gives 3 wish boxes but none can outmatch the machines and personal controlling it as such it doesn't matter if you are a higher level you simply have to dodge them all without letting any arrows and spears hit you." Said his friend.
" Yes it seems possible but you people are downplaying it so you don't know how hard it's for anyone to do so " said a new man who jumped into the conversation .
" Really ? Or you are just weak and waiting to be a good laughing stock " said a drunk person which got him angry and soon a fight began by that time Zash dwindled no more calling all his drones back and disassembling them, he stealthily followed a mob which seemed like thieves, beat them up and took their money they had 10 gold coins which seemed more than enough for him.
Soon he reached the said location to see a crowd of people looking at contents taking the tests while none had passed yet.
He asked someone where's the registration site.
He was advised not to try by a seemingly good person but he shrugged and said he just wanted to try his luck and went to register for the trial.
