Chapter 7: One Night-Stand
Like she said, to not talk to her, I really didn't, let's say that, it's for the best like I said I was familiar with this kind of thing, she who is my wife in the future, would often act like this if jealous.
Because she kept repeating the same thing, over the past several years, I have managed to find a solution, it's to do the thing that she says.
Because sometime later, she would say. "Why did you ignore me?!"
Well, isn't that what you wanted? This is very confusing, but it's better not to think further than that, because not only is it pointless, you would lose a few brain cells from thinking unnecessary problems.
That's why, it's better to leave it alone, knowing that she would be the one to fix this unnecessary problem that she made.
After ignoring Tsubaki, she has been looking at me, like she's waiting for me to approach her.
But girl, that won't happen, I'm not going to fall for that trick, since approaching her will further lead to another problem.
Then, after Ryōta and Kaori finished talking, awkwardly, at least from Kaori's side.
Kaori then revealed to them that she was going to be in a violin competition today, of course, I knew this since this was the same thing that happened in the past, then Tsubaki asked when the competition would start.
"It would start at 3:30!"
"3:30? Eh? It's already 3:15! We should hurry and go inside Towa hall!"
"What are we waiting for? Let's go! We're wasting time here!" Ryota started running toward the hall, and the rest followed him.
While we were running, I was the last one in the line, which is very, very shameful to me, I could understand that I can't outdo Ryota and Tsubaki speed since their both athletes, but can you imagine a sick person such as Kaori, is better than me who was in a normal condition?
Because of this, I decided. "Let's start working out starting from today!"
I can't myself be this weak even if a sick person is better than me, after a few minutes of running, we arrived inside Towa hall, inside the hall, there are plenty of people, they are probably the contestants family, either way, it's been a while since I went to this place, I'm not talking about in the past, but my future, the last time I step here was in my first year of college.
How nostalgic, this place is different from what it became in the future, it was much better than this, and there is AC everywhere, so it wasn't as hot as this.
Then Kaori spoke. "I'll go backstage, so see you later?"
Tsubaki smiled and replied. "Good luck!"
"Mhm, and…." She stole a glance at me, hoping that I would say something before she went backstage.
"Good luck on your performance, Kaori, I'll be sure to cheer on you." Naturally, I answered her longing, I wasn't as dense as I used to be, I smiled at her with the best I got.
My words made her very happy and satisfied. She probably didn't expect me to notice, but for sure, this would be engraved in her deepest memories, her idol encouraged, and because of this she swore to do extra best, she didn't want to disappoint me.
After that, she went backstage with a big smile on her face. After sending her off, I looked at my friends, especially Ryota who had his jaw dropped.
"Kousei...you...did you just call her by the first name?!"
"Yeah, sure I did?"
"What exactly happened between you guys before we arrived?" Ryota was curious about this.
"About that..it's a secret." I smiled at him, even If I told him it would be nothing special, so it better be left unsaid.
"Ughhh! T.e.l.l.m.e right now! I want to know!" Ryota approached me and grabbed my shoulders.
"Hey, can you stop? You know you're using too much strength in this fragile body of mine." I said casually without thinking much.
Hearing that, he gasps and replies. "Dude, you sound gay."
"What are you-" Then I realized what he meant, and continued.
"Well, it's you because you thought of it as gay, just because I use those words it doesn't mean it means that why what a dirty mind you have despite being young, no wonder you're a playboy," I said while shaking my head if I was gay, I wouldn't have married Tsubaki.
Also, she wasn't the only woman that I had sex with, in the future, I had sex with 2 women, the other one was just accidental, I was too drunk at that time, it wasn't my intention to do it, I even barely got memories of it happening.
But for sure, I had sex with 'her', if you wonder who this woman is, it's Emi, it happened at the reunion, either I didn't expect her to make me drink separate alcohol that was way over 80%, it was really terrible.
Aside from that, nothing happened between us, let's say that it was just a one-night stand.
"Wha-?! Who are you calling a playboy?!" Ryota refuted.
I started looking around my surroundings, before looking back at him. "I don't see anyone else, other than you."
"You little-"
Before he could even rage, I added. "Oh, it's time to go inside the auditorium, the competition is about to start."
I didn't wait for them, I went directly inside the auditorium, then Ryota looked at Tsubaki and asked. "What the hell happened to him? He seriously changed! He gives off that professional adult aura for a reason!"
"....Let him be," Tsubaki answered with a complicated expression, right now she doesn't know what is this unpleasant feeling that she feels right now, also….
'Why is he ignoring me?! That bastard!' She thought.
However, she failed to remember that, she was the one who said to not talk to her for a while, so Kousei just did what she asked for, and now she reaps what she sowed.
"Huh? You're acting strange too Tsubaki, what's wrong with you two today?" Ryota suddenly felt left out.
"Shut it! Let's go inside!" Tsubaki wasn't in the mood to talk to him right now.
"H-hey wait for me!" After that, they went inside the auditorium.

Inside the auditorium,
I was already sitting in the front row, why the hell would I sit down at the back, when it's empty, either way, I could see her more clearly here.
Right now, all I have to do is wait for the competition to start.
