Chapter 291: MTh: Invitation

Mr. Jonhson lowered his voice further. "But you told our son to leave the matters to you, didn't you? That is the second reason why we came here."

Mrs. Jonhson glanced at the two children playing with the gifts and at Tim who sat a bit farther from them. 

She lowered her voice while answering. "I just said that because he seems desperate. I really don't know why he has to invite his ex-wife to his wedding."

Mr. Jonhnson had an aloof face as he commented, "Our son had never cared about Lianne in the first place ever since he got together with Anna. It must be that woman's doing."

Mrs. Jonhson's face turned ugly at the mention of their future daughter-in-law. "I really can't see what our son sees in that woman."

"Hush, let's not talk about it anymore. We should focus on our grandchildren. This is a precious time."
