The parents came out of the meeting room. On the way, many parents were surrounding Liam.

She became the representative of the parent's class and the mother of the top student of this grade. Her reputation and the impression she had with other parents made the parents respect her and treat her well.

Tim glanced up as soon as the door opened. Some parents came out and were greeted by their children. He then saw the head of the person he had been waiting for.

He was about to stand up and approach Liam but halted when he saw the crowd around her.

Tim paused in alarm.

....Did his mother do something to get surrounded by other parents? 

Panic and worry first came into his heart. His mind came up with various situations that might have happened inside the room.
