Chapter 131: Finding Little Al

Liam felt speechless for these people. 

However, she was confused by the severity of the oath. It wasn't like the oath Rein had made before in the Merchant's land.

What was different?

The old chief approached Rein.

"Your oath was exceptional. We now believe your sincerity to exist in our society. You can now sign the treaty."

Rein signed the paper with a drop of his blood. "Of course, this peace treaty was so important that I need to make sure my oath would be sufficient enough to give security that you people need."

The old chief was silent. Though, there was a lot on his mind.

"Excellent. Truly excellent." The old chief muttered bitterly before he invited Ajaven to speak in private.

When the old chief was gone, Liam went to Rein's side.

"Why make an oath like that? This current oath was a disadvantage to your clan."
