Chapter 5: Chapter 5 Moving in!!
After some days they were well settled in the apartment.Isabella loved doing room decor. She chose deep golden coloured furniture and did some photo wall art. She added some series for decor and some small plants. Her room looked aesthetic and pleasing.
They were getting used to the apartment but as expected , Noah used to always bother Isabella knocking the door for the most unreasonable things like asking for sugar, having a chit chat with Ivy, feeling lonely. And the worst playing loud music early morning.But soon some old neighbor came to give him some lessons and scolded him . Isabella got a good show that day.
It's been few weeks , she hasn't seen Blake . She was missing him. She randomly asked Noah about him. He told her that he was on some vacation with his family.
Everything was going normal but Isabella was noticing the closeness of Noah and Ivy.
They didn't let any chance of meeting go in vain. Whenever she asked if there's something they used to shoo it off saying she was thinking too much. Isabella didn't think much and paid her attention on studies.
Isabella POV
One weekend evening,Me ,Ivy and Noah were chilling watching movies on Netflix after a pizza party which was fun at Noah place.
" Let's watch some horror" I suggested. "On come on , I freak out" Ivy immediately rejected. " Ladies , No fear Noah is here" Noah cracked his stupid joke. I rolled my eyes. While Ivy blushed looking at him.
Finally , she agreed and the movie started.
Suddenly the door bell rang Ring* . Ivy jumped and snuggling against Noah. I laughed at her while Noah comforted her.
I got up and opened it , shocked at the person standing. It was Blake.
He looked tired , and haven't shaved his hair had grown out. He seemed as if he had cried. The shine in those green eyes were lost. He looked miserable. My heart clenched at his condition.
I felt like hugging him and comforting him from all his pain. He didn't maintained eye contact for long.
I snapped out of my thoughts." B.. Blake " I shuttered. " Hey " he whispered as if his voice was gone. Before I could ask something Noah called out my name " Izzy" .
He came closer and jumped at Blake hugging him tightly " hey man , where were you?" Noah chirped happily.
Blake smiled at him half-heartedly and replied" Just busy budd" .He continued making eye contact with me " Actually there's something important I wanted to talk" Blake said breaking the hug.
" Everything's alright??"Noah asked concerned. " Ya ya just missed you " he winked giving a smile. " Let's talk outside" Noah said pulling him towards the exit. Blake nodded and smiled at me.
" He was fucking hot man!" ivy said close to my ear . I jumped getting scared . " My god Ivy you scared me " I said keeping a hand on my chest . " You two look quite close " she said closing the door behind me. " No we are not, he's Noah best friend" I answered.
" The intensity with which you two were looking at each other I felt like you are about to eat him" she teased me. I rolled my eyes at her .
Meanwhile in the garden.
" So how was the trip??" Noah smiled. "Pretty good " Blake said looking down. "Blake tell me , you don't look fine "Noah said keeping a hand on his shoulder. "Nothing much" Blake replied. This time Noah blinked his eyes reassuringly. Blake continued " I am gonna leave college" Blake said with dull expression. " What!?????" Noah was shocked.
" My dad wants me to join his business, throughout this trip he gave me mental torture about taking care of my family and business. I tried to explain him to give me some time but he doesn't understands" his voice broke at last sentence.
Noah knew how bad and how hard his friend was working for his dream . But Blake's father was not even caring about his dreams .
" I have an idea , it will give you some time to think and a break from your father's torture" Noah said with stern voice. Blake looked at him confused. " Move in with me it will give you break as well as help you making a proper decision , don't make a rash decision" Noah suggestion with sincerity in his eyes.At first Blake was shocked but later he hugged him tightly thanking for his advice.
The next morning Blake left his house secretly only informing his mother of his whereabouts. His mother loved him more than anything else and supported his decision of moving out. She promised him she will handle everything he should do what felt right.
By afternoon he reached Noah apartment with all his luggage. Noah welcomed him warmly and gave him an apartment and his room tour.
Blake was unpacking his luggage he heard Isabella voice from the hall . She was talking to Noah about something. " Please buy me some drinks and snacks Izzy I am hungry" Noah said pleading her.
She rolled her eyes at his acting . She looked gorgeous even doing that.Noah noticed Blake standing there. " Hey Blake , you came at the right time , go with Izzy she will help you for getting stuff for your room."
Their eyes met . She smiled at him warmly. " No, I don't wanna bother her for such reasons , I can get things lat..." She interrupted . " You won't" she said giving a charming smile.
" O come on go with her, she's an expert in such things" Noah praised her. Blake nodded "Alright " and they left together.
