Walking down the stairs, she commanded attention to herself and it made her feel that, wearing the blue flowery gown that Mrs. Hilda gave her was indeed the right choose she could make.

Vicky was ecstatic that everyone in the hall paused to look at her as she continued her way towards them. Her smile couldn't be hidden as she glanced around the giant hall for that one person she wore the dress specifically for; Matthew Hayez. When her eyes settled upon him, she gave a shy smile as she approached him.

''Whoa, Vicky you look really splendid. She is going to turn heads around'' Old Mr. Hayez said as he looked at her.

''Really? Is that true, Matthew?'' Vicky asked Matthew with an innocent gaze.

''Why are you asking me? Do you not have confidence in your own worth?'' Matthew Hayez asked as he turned his gaze towards the stairs. She wasn't the person he wanted to see the most at that moment.
