Chapter 25: Le Révélation

"So you claimed to be her grandfather, Romulos?" asked the mistress with a hysterical laugh.

"Uncle, Laura, Uncle Romulos. And yes, I did claimed to be her grandfather. I promised David I'll take care of his family, which I failed to do." stated Mr. Thomas, his voice hinted he was disappointed within himself.

"Well let us forget the past, Uncle." Commented the mistress, her face was now serious.

"What about her name, did she got one?" Added the mistress.

"Patrixe and Trisha, hmmm,, maybe Patrixie or Patrisha. Your choice." replied Mr. Thomas.

"I think Pat-ri-cia would be nice. 'Patricia Hayes', that will be her name." The mistress said with finality.

"Well I best be off, A dark Magi like me have a lot of things to take care off. There are tons of Black Vessels out there, and we need more Magis'. I can't afford to waste much time. Later if we can't destroy all the vessels, he will rise again with full glory and we can't let that happen." explained Mr. Thomas. The mistress nodded, and Mr. Thomas went outside.

The present Patricia followed him. And she saw her younger self and Mr. Thomas talking.

"You'll be living here from now on, Patricia."

"My name, Patricia?" Asked Patricia with enthusiasm.

"Yes. From now on, you will be called Patricia Hayes, understand?" Asked Mr. Thomas playfully as he brushed off Patricia's hair.

"Yes, grandfather." replied Patricia.

"Well, I'll get going now. Be good." Said Mr. Thomas and went away.

Patricia was left there, staring at the fading silhouette of his grandfather, doesn't know what to do nor where to go. The only thing she knew was she gotten a name already, Patricia Hayes.

The scene faded and a new scene entered. It was on the Mistress's office again, she was on her table writing something.

"Mother! mother!" Someone entered from the door, and to Patricia's surprise it was Ms. Taylor. A younger Ms. Taylor.

"Yes, Taylor dear. What do you want?" Asked the mistress, without looking at Ms. Taylor.

"You didn't tell me Uncle Romulos was here!" Ms. Taylor grumbled.

"He was in a hurry." replied the Mistress.

"But still! -------- oh wait, I saw a young girl outside. Who is she, mother?" Asked Ms. Taylor, her mood have changed.

"She's Patricia Hayes, your cousin." Said the mistress.

"My cousin?!! Wait----" Ms. Taylor reacted, then she turned around her mother's table and seated on the couch.

"From father's side?" Asked Ms. Taylor.

"No." The mistress replied shortly.

"That means, she is the daughter of uncle Patrixe and aunt Trisha, is she mother?" Ms. Taylor asked excitedly.

"Yes." The mistress replied, still writing.

"OMG!" Ms. Taylor squealed, she jumped off from the couch and wheeled around.

"I gotta talk to her!" Ms. Taylor said and was about to open the door when the mistress spoked.

"Don't, Taylor." The mistress uttered in her cold-blooded voice.

Ms. Taylor turned around, her eyebrows furrowed, she was about to retaliate but the mistress spoked again.

"Listen, Taylor. From now on, you won't call me mother but mistress. Call me Mistress. And you, you shall keep an eye on Patricia from now on." said the mistress, now looking at Ms. Taylor.

Ms. Taylor was taken aback, her face showed confusion but still she managed to utter a word and because she's very obedient, she did what she have told.

"B--but why, mother. I m-mean Mistress? The Mistress rather."

"Just do it.

"But Mistress, the mistress, it does not sound well, really mother, really?" said Ms. Taylor foolishly.

"And oh, please bring her to the Roses. She'll be living with them."

Ms. Taylor's mouth fell agape, her eyes widen, and then she almost shouted, "Are your senses in perfect sense, Mother, the mistress rather?"

The mistress let out a deep sigh and looked at Taylor in the eyes.

"I'm perfectly in perfect sense, Taylor, thank you." The mistress said harshly.

"But the mistress, Pariana and Peteriona Rose are no good for err--what's her name again?"

"Patricia."

"Right, Patricia. They're no good, Mistress. I suggest she'll live with me in my dorm." Ms. Taylor suggested.

"No. Take her to their dorm. How could you know if they're good or not for the child?" asked The mistress, giving Ms. Taylor an intense look.

"I just happen to know!" Ms. Taylor blabbered, breaking the eye contact.

"Enough, Taylor. Take her to the Roses." The mistress said with finality. Ms. Taylor did not argue back, she let out a sigh and went outside.

The scene faded when the door have closed, Patricia can't move a thing on her body again. Another scene flashed into view, and Patricia could moved again.

Ms. Taylor was on the outside of the mistress's office, and Patricia could see the young Patricia sitting on a bench placed on the Painting room.

"Hey little fella." Ms. Taylor said warmly, she bend down and face the little Patricia. The small fella look at her boringly, she did not respond.

"I'm Miss Taylor Swift, you can call me Ms. Taylor. I'll take you to your dorm." stated Ms. Taylor and Patricia nodded. Ms. Taylor let out a sigh and force a smile to Patricia.

She stood up and Patricia stood up also, Ms. Taylor lead the way out of The Wysterian Hall to downstairs, on the ground floor.

They went upstairs again and a door was seen at the very end of the staircase.

Ms. Taylor knocked twice, the door have opened and it revealed the Roses; Pateriona and Pariana. They were a bit messy and the room was chaotic as ever. There were feathers all over the place, and pillowcases scattered.

Ms. Taylor let out a deep sigh and mumbled, "Mother's insane, she'll be worst in her." The young Patricia did not seem to heard her but the 15 years old Pat heard her clearly.

"Yes, Ms. Taylor?" asked a young girl, with a blonde curly hair and low-key facial impression. She was smiling towards Ms. Taylor. Another girl came to view, she was having a blonde straight hair and with a grin on her face, she throwed a pillow towards the other young girl; Pariana.

"Bulls eye!" said Peteriona with a triumphant grin.

The present Patricia let out a chuckle, this was their dorm before they entered first year and transferred in the Pixiestail room.

Pariana got the pillow after it landed on her face. She was about to throw it for revenge when Ms. Taylor told her to stop.

"Stop. Stop. Stop." Said Ms. Taylor repeatedly, and she went inside the dorm and roamed her eyes.

"Tore pillows, feathers everywhere, and look, books SpiLLed wiTh MilK----Oh my--what did you do? Scribbles on the walls! This is a TOTAL MESS!" Ms. Taylor commented dramatically as she inspect the dorm.

"Peteriona did tore my books." commented Pariana calmly, letting go of the pillow.

"Uh-huh." Peteriona muttered under her breath while she raised an eyebrow.

Ms. Taylor let out a sighed and grabbed something in her pocket; a wand. She swing it in the air and muttered an incantation, then the walls were white as it was, the books were neatly placed on the shelves, the feathers were back in their pillowcases, and the room was spectacularly clean.

"She's doing it! She's doing magic!" Yelled Peteriona, her voice hinted great enthusiasm.

"Look Pariana! She's doing it!" Yelled Peteriona again, Pariana let out a sigh but Peteriona did not stop. Peteriona turned to Patricia who was still at the front door with her bored expression on her visage.

"Hey, I'm Peteriona Ethereal Rose. You can call me Pete or Peteriona, nice name isn't it?" Said Peteriona letting out a hand to Patricia.

Patricia blinked at her, doesn't know what to respond. When she already composed what she should say, Pariana butted in.

"Don't listen to her, I'm Pariana Ayesha Rose by the way. And you are?" Pariana talked.

"Uh Hi?" replied Patricia, looking pale.

"Patricia dear, come in. This will be your home, of course, together with the Roses. Now take care all of you and behaved. Mr. Harper will send a snack later." Said Ms. Taylor quickly and she went out. Patricia was left there, her mouth agape and she was pulled by Peteriona inside.

The scene faded again and Patricia didn't even tried to move. But she wasn't feeling cold, nor soaked in wet. A good thing actually.
