90% SOL: I Was Female For 7 Lifetimes, Until the 8th Made Me A Prince / Chapter 9: Episode 5: Heart’s Desire (Part I)

Chapter 9: Episode 5: Heart’s Desire (Part I)

A odd dream. I can barely remember it. Someone telling me something important... but I can't make out what it is. For some reason it hurts to try to remember it. Right now, it has been a few days since the incidents with Luna and Lazarus at the Dark Kingdom, but...

"SOLARIS!!! YOU GET BACK HERE THIS INSTANT, BROTHER!!!"

I'm back to the mischief I usually do when I'm bored and have no other duties to take care of. So I kinda turned my brother, Sky, into a small cat. I find the grumpy little kitten hilarious.

"CHANGE ME BACK RIGHT NOW, " he yelled.

I managed to get away from Sky as I accidentally hit a hidden trap switch, that slides me all the way down to a hallway unfamiliar to me. With no other exits but down the hallway, I decided to follow it. I walked for what felt like hours to a weird heart-shaped door that has a sign that says "Heart's Desire". I was... a little conflicted.

"This... This is either gonna be the greatest experience or super freaky... I don't know teleportation magic yet and there is no other way to leave... Okay Sol! I just have to go through here once! Only once! Yeah! Should be no problem!"

I opened the door hesitantly as a flash of light engulfed me. The light faded to reveal the a apple farm field. This place was so familiar it made me tear up in an instant... this was my farm... my first lifetime's memories.

"Eve, get back here, " a boy's voice cried out.

"You better catch me first, Adam, " a girl's voice said teasingly.

Two voices caught my attention as I see two kids chasing each other pass through me. The boy had blonde hair and green eyes while the girl has black hair and red eyes, both as happy as can be playing together. Adam and Eve. I then see them stop, as Adam manages to catch Eve by surprise.

"Gotcha, " he laughed.

"Beginners luck, " she replied.

Suddenly both Adam and Eve's voices got muted as the two children's conversation continued. Another voice popped in an echoed whisper, surprising me in the process.

"You have to get out of here..., " the voice said, "It's too dangerous... if you stay here longer... You must... proceed... to the exit..."

Remembering what I was suppose to do, I manage to make to the door and opened it with another flash of light blinding my eyes. There I make it to another farm field familiar to me. It was in the countryside and near a forest next to the main road. The home of my second lifetime.

"Aw shucks Maddie, you'd be a professional horse rider if your Ma and Pa weren't always pestering you to go to school to get a real job."

"Well, I wanna make my Ma and Pa happy... even if I'm not."

I looked to see two kids in the field with my second life was riding a horse. It's me and one of my classmates who I stood up for, a nerd boy who was always bullied at school for being a weakling. I just called him "Conny" since he said so himself that his name was too long for anyone to remember and he preferred to keep that name anyway. But I knew his name. Constantine Cooper Jones. He has black hair and eyes, with glasses, while I formerly had short messy blonde hair and blue eyes.

"I got it! How about we work on a business together with horses, " he said excitedly.

"I don't follow ya, " she said in confusion.

"Well, I always wanted to run a farming business, and you always want to be a horse rider but also making a lot of money from it to help your parents. So why not expand it a little and make it a full run international business. Horse Businesses are successful and we can make a lot, and we can also get connections around the world to sell our farm products, watch horse racing too for bets from all those fancy folks and give lessons of horse and farming as well. With your farming and horse skills and my nerd intelligence on business it would work out perfectly. So what do you say?"

"What do I say? I say, Conny, you're a genius, " she said excitedly hugging him suddenly, "This is perfect, I'm so happy you came up this idea, otherwise I would have decided to become a secretary in a big city far away or something."

It muted once again as they begin to giggle with each other and talked more. The echoed voice appears again but much more muffled than before.

"Leave... Hurry... Before it's... too late..."

I was so confused. What was going on? I began to leave through another door, that flashed a bright light yet again. God, this is really hurting my eyes...

This time I was in a castle... but it wasn't my home in the Light Kingdom or in Fantasia for that matter. This is my third lifetime's world. I then looked at a lady dressed in armor staring off into space looking at one of the large windows at the castle. Two identical men also wearing armor approached to reach her shoulders, but were immediately attacked by the lady's sudden reflex.

"What the-? Luke! Len! Say something before you approach me like that! You know how I get from people sneaking at me from behind, " she scolded.

"Sorry Kat, it wasn't me or Len's intension to scare you, " Luke explained.

"Me? Scared? Pfff, don't be ridiculous, " she said turning her head.

"Are you sure? Because you seemed pretty scared~, " Len teased.

"I AM NOT, " she screamed.

Luke and Len. They were two twin boys who were orphans on the street, but my father took them in and trained them to be knights with my brother. I self trained myself in the ways of the knight, ran away from home, and pretended to be working at the castle as a lady in waiting, since I was friends with the princess. No one knew I became a part of the knights at the royal castle, until Luke and Len were recruited too. They understood, though me as family and accepted my role as knight but also told me the horrible news of my father's demise. My brother disappeared shortly after I ran away, so I never knew what became of him until he mysteriously came back to backstabbed me later. Luke and Len were better brothers to me than my blood sibling.

Suddenly it gets muted again, and I'm left with another muffled echo voice.

"Get...out... Out... hurry.., " the voice cried out.

I'm getting the strange feeling that this place was far more dangerous than the doors are actually showing me and how the voice is telling me so.
