Chapter 5
It is already 1 month after we started translating my book. And Chi Lie already translated 3/4 of it. She always go to our house during her break in the library that is why she did it in a short time. She is not here for today because she went home to their place in the province. She will return in 1 week.
Half percent is already done and it totally makes sense now. There is a pattern in the book that is why it is very easy when I am combining both of them.
The first 10 pages of the book is all warnings, cautions, reccomendations, do's and don't s and a letter by the author. This letter...
"Whoever finds this book. You should not regret everyone around you incl.uding your family.
Pursuing strength and power is not easy. It can take you to places that you don't like. You can even hurt the ones that you love. It can change who you are. And make a lot of enemy.
If you like power that much, I can give it to you. It is up to you if you will use it in a good or bad way. I just want others to feel what I felt being strong. The adventures that I had is priceless. I will cherish it all the time. There will be a time in the future that you will experience something. It is up to you to handle it. Better be ready for that.
I personally suggest for you to stop achieving power. I did it and look at me. I am alone when I died. But that is just the result for me. Maybe yours will be different.

At first I thought this author is all gloomy. He is a pervert too.
The very first topic about power that I read is "Strengthening the mind and body".
My uncle is a military in the kingdom. So I went to him to train my body because their trainings are so somewhat hard but they are still training everyday. That is why they are strong.
I trained every morning by building my muscles and focusing on flexibility. And according to the book, meditation is one way to strengthen the mind.
I did this training for 3 weeks already. I am no longer a skinny guy. My muscles are buffed, and I think that i am ready to go to the next step. Drinking the a spring water called, spring of truth. But according to the book, the place is outside this kingdom. It would take me 3 days to travel. Luckily, there is a number of merchants, nobles that are going to the city of Kuroo. It is not the place where the spring is, but it is close to it, just another half a day of travel.
It is dangerous to travel alone because of thieves that I may encounter. But it is also dangerous to travel by group. Nobles are also going to Kuroo City, making much more eye catchy for thieves. But nobles hired adventurers and guards to protect our group. I didn't join the protection squad because I am just a supporter. I can't do anything in a fight. And I still have a lot of money. I don't need a job right now. But my money won't grow if it is just sitting in the bank. I will think of a business when I am finished with my agenda.
Travelling.
The first day is a peaceful day. We camped outside when it got dark. The guards took turns in guarding and sleeping. Other adventurer secured our camping area by eliminating monsters nearby. And we continued our journey. The second day was a problem. We were attacked by thieves. They are not just an ordinary thieves. They seem like an adventurer mixed with normal thieves that uses weapons. They use spells to attack us. A lot of the guards were defeated but then a mysterious person in a cloak jumped in front of the fight and defeated a lot of thieves that uses swords and spears. He also nullified the attack spells of the mages that targeted him.
It shooked the enemy forces and they run leaving their fainted comrades.
The hooded figure then talked to the person in charge of the guards. The guard then saluted and obeyed the instructions of the hooded figure.
We all cheered for the hooded figure and helped the injured guards.
I asked the commander if who were the guy that saved us. He refused to say it to me until the hooded figure was already behind me and talked to me.
"Boy. You don't need to bother the commander. You can talk to me. "
I looked and then he removed his hood. I am surprised when I saw.
She was the former Queen of the Kingdom. Queen Eliza. Her looks didn't change when she was the queen. She still has a beautiful face and a sexy body. A long blonde hair and a beautiful blue eyes. You can't believe that she had given birth to the King.
My eyes was focused on the entirety of her body. It froze my eyes staring her. But then I realized that I looked quite long to her. My body then immediately bowed to her due to my reflex.
..."My Queen. I am sorry for my rudeness.I am just astounded by your beautiful face and nice body. I am also amazed by the skills that I saw. It just occurred to me that it would be an honor to meet such a powerful person."
_Hahaha. You flatter me. You don't have to bow to me. I am no longer the queen. I am just the King's mother. And now I just want to go to the Kuroo city to enjoy. Do you want to go to my carriage and talked with me? It was kinda boring being alone in the carriage. They still treat me like a queen. I like to have a conversation to an interesting person like you. And I think you might enjoy it too."
I agreed and joined the queen to her carriage. I was intrigued by the look and smile of the queen. And I do have a bad feeling about it. I think I might regret joining her. Let's see what happens.
