She turned head and pointed the device with her eyes. "Do you understand it now?"
"Yes, your explanation is very thorough, Ms. Wan." Thorough? Han Seoyeon asked herself. She only showed him how it was done.
"I just wonder if you could even ride your own bus without knowing how card pass works." She sighed.
"Ride a Bus?" Even though Han Seoyeon planned to speak in a whisper and thought she did well in it, the vampire had a questionable good hearing.
"Yes a bus, it also had this device, you know."
Jung Hwa sang a quiet hum over her lips. "I didn't know."
"Can't blame you." She waved her hand.
"No, I mean I didn't know that you ride bus." At his words, Han Seoyeon almost slapped her own mouth again. She said more unnecessary things! Why would Wan Seulgi need to ride a bus when she had her own car? She also remembered how her friend hated bus the most as it was always cramped with people. Speaking of it, she remembered how surprised Wan Seulgi was in Highschool when they first rode a bus together. It made her wondered if it is a tradition for the rich to not know of such a simple thing?
"It's convenient." Han Seoyeon lied through her teeth. "Learning something new isn't bad, don't you think? I can learn what other normal people do by mimicking them."
"That's true, mimicking is the best way to learn new things." Jung Hwa noted. After their small conversation, Han Seoyeon became more careful in any words that was about to slip out from her mouth. Part of her still mulled over why she was easily swayed by the vampire and decided to just enjoy the aquarium before formally rejecting him. If she give him a good reason, he would back off. Perhaps.
As they entered the Aquarium, they were first greeted by a dimmed tunnel with glasses making up as a window for Han Seoyeon to see the blue water sparkling over her head. Lifting her chin to see the sea staying atop her head, her smile widened. "Wow." She whispered. It had been her dream since her childhood days to be underwater, the calming blue color of the sea and their serene vivid color filled her black eyes.
"Do you like it?" Jung Hwa asked her who had been entrapped by the aquarium.
"No!" She replied with her smile still painting her rosy lips. "I love this!"
Jung Hwa blinked, covering his mouth again with his palm. He surely didn't expect her to give him such a bright smile. Like a rose, no perhaps she's even more brighter than any flowers the world had. Vampires are night creatures who can't feel love almost like a binding magic or perhaps a curse and it was especially worse for pureblood vampires. For him to feel this way toward her was something rare but he couldn't care less.
Han Seoyeon had completely forgot who was standing beside her and continued to thread her path to see more of the place. To her who had fallen completely in love with the Sea, whoever she came with, be it her boss or a vampire, their existence was now less than a pebble stone to her eyes.
Jung Hwa could read this from the rare expression that she gave and saw him leaving himself alone to see other places but didn't felt offended at all. Instead, he enjoyed his time wondering what kind of smile she would keep showing.
"Ms. Wan." He called his name from behind to be ignored by her. Seeing her eyes fixed in the blue water and the small fishes that made a small storm inside the aquarium tank. This was to be expected though, he thought and patiently called her name over and over until she finally noticed someone calling for her. Turning she saw the man who she had forgotten in the back of her mind and gathered her face again. "What can I help you with, Mr. Jung?"
"No, well you told me earlier that you want to see the dolphins so I just want to remind you that we only have less than five minutes to meet the dolphins show." Hearing his announcement, Han Seoyeon had her eyes widened. "You," she paused taking a small glance at her watch and added. "Why didn't you tell me sooner?!"
"I have been calling for you-" many times, yet before he completely ended his words, he felt his wrist being wrapped by the soft palms of her hands. "Where is it?! Let's go! When can't miss them!" She warned, having his entire hand completely under her palm unknowingly.
"On the South part after the corner of this hallway." He replied technically and had himself being pulled by her by the wrist for them to reach toward the dolphin show. Perhaps because of the dimmed lighting and the blue light or perhaps because his excellent choice of booking the entire aquarium for only the two of them, the place was inevitably quiet. But he didn't dislike it, it was the complete opposite. The feeling as though the whole world had only the two of them was something that made his smile to turn up unendingly.
The two walked together, running to race with the time they both arrived at the dolphin show at the last minute. Han Seoyeon didn't let go of her hand, still wasn't aware that she had been holding to his wrist and have the vampire running around with her excitement. Having Jung Hwa booked her the entire aquarium wasn't a bad thing, as a fan of the underwater, she was even more of the dolphins fan. Seeing that the entire stadium was hers, she could choose which seat she would take to watch the dolphin show.
When she spotted the best place, she took Jung Hwa again to the seat and pulled him away. Jung Hwa had noticed that she perhaps thought him of something akin to a bag that she had to bring. But at the moment, he was having his best enjoyment and wouldn't want it to end. He didn't raise his voice and gave his consent for Seoyeon to bring his whole person to everywhere as she likes.
Seeing the seats, Han Seoyeon sat down first to finally saw her hand was linked perfectly with Jung Hwa's long and slender fingers. Surprised, she retracted her hand to her laps, seeing him with an accusing look.
"I had tried telling from a long time before, but you didn't seem to be hearing me." Jung Hwa took his explanation, looking at her with a smile.
Han Seoyeon turned her eyes away from him, murmuring. "I didn't ask." At her words, he replied with a chuckle and seated beside her. Han Seoyeon looked at him sitting leisurely beside her. "There are other seats for you than this one, Mr. Jung."
"But I think I want to sit here." He crossed his legs, bringing his face forward for him to cut the distance between their faces. "This seat has the best view than the others."
Han Seoyeon decided to be the wise one out of both of them and ignored his presence to shift her eyes at the dolphins seeing the show began, the corner of her lips softened to a sparkling smile. But before she continued watching, Seoyeon pulled an umbrella from her bag. Seeing it, Jung Hwa curiously asked. "What that is for?"
"This?" Han Seoyeon raised her folded umbrella and mischievously smiled. "You will see it use later." and the show started after her statement.
Jung Hwa still gazed at the umbrella curiously and took his time to think of its uses but other than that as he had said to Seoyeon before, something else had taken his sight off from the show. His eyelashes shadowed his black eyes, keeping his gaze fixed at Han Seoyeon who had been smiling with her hand excitedly waving to the dolphins that performed the show. Time passed but he didn't felt bored at the least, instead he kept watching her expressions changing intriguingly. He noticed that when she was excited, her eyes would widen a little and that when she could not stop her smiling any longer, she would cover her lips with her left hand. Every expression that she made was too precious for him to unable kept his gaze away from her in case he would miss a new expression that she had made before him. The show was about to end when he noticed Han Seoyeon unwrapping the belt of the umbrella and pushed the button of the umbrella for it to open widely with a loud pop.
"What are you doing?" Jung Hwa asked but before he received the answer, the dolphin which was very near to their seats as they were at the first seat before the small pool jumped over them, creating a wave of water splatters to washed over the first seat.
Jung Hwa looked at himself surprised, his face was drenched with water and his black hair that he kept cleanly to the back now fell over to hide his forehead. Wiping the water a little over his eyes, the corner of his eyes noticed Han Seoyeon's shoulder trembling. He faced to his left to find Han Seoyeon covering her mouth to hide down the burst of laughter that exploded after seeing Jung Hwa was washed down with water.
"You look," she paused and burst into loud giggles. "You look better with your hair down!"
Jung Hwa knew that she was lying in her second sentence. She must have planned to say 'you look funny' but held it back. However, when he saw the light hitting over her black eyes, and how the corner of her eyes curved down to behold the wide smile, everything that passed to his mind seemed to float away from his mind. Threading his hair between his fingers, he swiped his black hair with his hand. "Did you have fun?" His words pickled her smile but Han Seoyeon didn't hide her contented look after finally paying him back after he had played her around.
"I am!"
"Good then," said Jung Hwa and he stood up from her place. Seeing him standing up, Han Seoyeon thought that he would now lose interest in her and silently packed her umbrella. When she stood up, she saw him still standing at his spot. Why isn't he leaving now? She asked herself for her to see him turning his face. "You are done? Let's go."
"We are still going?" She clearly thought he would lose interest at her by now.
"Of course we still have other places to go to. You said dolphins, sharks, penguins, and sea lion, right? Let's go to meet them now." He spoke as though he was speaking to a child. Taking off his outer coat which was still wet from the water splash that the dolphins made, Jung Hwa walked before her. Thankfully, only his outer clothing was drenched with water and the grayish shirt under him was still dry. Walking a few steps away from the place he noticed Han Seoyeon still standing at her spot and turned. "Let's go?" He asked again as his eyes trailed on her.
Han Seoyeon didn't know what she was thinking that time. It was rare for her to use her time to go to a relaxing holiday. She knew she had to reject him sooner or later but now, she chose to agree to his offer. "What's next?"
"Penguins." He replied with a soft smile, taking her wrist gently.
"What are you doing?-" Asked Seoyeon surprised by his smooth movement.
"We only have five minutes left, let's go." He replied with a bright smile that reminded her of a sunflower. Although the vampire was multiple times stronger than her, right now the hand that held her wrist was not strong and she could have break free from her hold easily. Yet, she didn't want to do that.
Han Seoyeon traveled together with Jung Hwa, with hand holding each other they visited every show they could. By the times they met the sharks, Jung Hwa asked her to come into the aquarium for them to greet the shark and she agreed. Having experience new amusement in the aquarium she had loved since her childhood, Seoyeon didn't regret the time she spent today. Her days which usually filled with nothing but works today felt brighter. Even though she had many things cooped in her mind, she let herself free under the blue light that shone over the aquarium over her head.
"The penguins were so adorable!" Han Seoyeon cupped her cheeks, having all her fatigue blown away from the soothing creature. Jung Hwa held her smiling image to reflect on his eyes. "Yes, it is adorable." He replied, his eyes still secured upon her face.
Han Seoyeon turned her face to him. As the words come out from his lips, Han Seoyeon thought that it was unexpected. Jung Hwa was a vampire and he had confessed it to herself. She recalled to have read a statement that Vampire was a being with cold they stood as the third person in many cases and often receive the name of cold blood sucking monsters. However Jung Hwa was an unexpectedly a person of warmth, he could smile like a child when he was playing with the animals, he could also joke and a person of patience. Han Seoyeon had her eyes unknowingly following his expression, finding his smile to be heartwarming.
Just then Han Seoyeon was staring at his face, Jung Hwa turned his face, giving a gentle smile. "What are you looking at?"
As they gazed fixed at each other sparks flew between their gaze and Han Seoyeon quickly avoided her gaze to clash with him again. "The clown fish is very adorable." She gave her excuse and he replied with only a chuckle. Crossing his arms behind his back, Jung Hwa made a disappointed expression. "So you were looking at the clown fish."
"Of course, what did you think I was looking at?" Han Seoyeon questioned involuntarily, not knowing that she was once again played by the vampire. Cutting the distance between their face, he smiled the sweetest smile. "I was hoping that you was staring at my face. Perhaps that way, you could see the charm of my face."
Falling short by words, she turned her face away, conversing both of her earlobes with her fingers. "What a narcissist." She whispered. Jung Hwa didn't took offense from her words, instead he chuckled in delight.
Jung Hwa hummed, taking a glance at his watch and said. "I think we will be late to the sea lion shows, we should go now."
"Al-" Before the words left from her mouth, her phone rang out. Narrowing her eyes, her feeling was warning her that the call wasn't one that she would ever want to take and when she took out her phone, her expression darkened.
