Chapter 8: I don't care
Hearing those 2 options, Aragi remained silent.
On one side, he could get his freedom which he always yearned for, and not only that he will also be a leader of his own race.
But, what about all those things he had been through? Should he forget it all?
Then the 2nd option, just walk away as if nothing happened and accept death
Aragi didn't know what to choose, he didn't felt good about any option
Yama noticed Aragi's uneasiness, he said "I will be the main monarch of those who are under me, but that doesn't mean I won't give freedom to anyone. You all shall have your own freedom and I won't stop you from DOING WHAT YOU WANT no matter what it is"
Aragi was stunned at this
As far as he knows, a monarch doesn't give any type of freedom to his people as he wants to hold supreme authority but here, the person, the monarch of this place was saying, he(yama) doesn't care about what he(aragi) would do in future.
Which in other words mean, that he (aragi) can do anything with his strength after being the leader of Vampire race
Everything was now clear to Aragi, so in a calm tone he bowed his head and said "Then please let me become the leader of my race"
With that, a new leader for Vampire race had been selected

In a certain place-
"Did you find out about the source of that voice?"
"I tried to find out but it seems it came from the fairy kingdom"
"So?"
"What do you mean by So? Just the voice alone shows how strong that creature/beast will be. No one is ready to go in that forest no matter how much I try to pay them"
"Damn, just what is going on in this world, first that raid where only 2 people came alive and then that voice"
"Maybe, this is a sign of 2nd demon war?"
"But there are no signs of demons in any kingdom or seen any of them around the port city"
In a dark room, few people have gathered together as they all are talking about things which happened a few days ago
The roar of Shanon which was heard in throughout the whole continents every kingdom
They all have a face full of sweat as they don't know just how strong that beast (Shanon) is or how it looks

Under the command of Yama, Aragi leads the vampire into a new era.
Aragi started training each and every vampire every single night (they can't live in daylight)so they could grow more and more strong
His only aim was revenge but as time passed by weeks, he slowly-slowly started thinking if he really needs revenge?
And time passed by days and weeks
Present time-
Right now, Gildart (Yama but in warrior mode) is standing at a big hall.
And in front of him, is the King of Effeneer Kingdom, Effeneer Iwamoto Jurou and beside him is his 2 milf *cough* his 2 beautiful wife's, with their child
And as usual, there are guards around the whole place, with some nobles also
"You peasant, don't you know any manners? Bow your head to the king right now" A noble said in a loud tone to Gildart
Gildart didn't feel angry at him but simply glared at him
"hick"
The noble that spoke trembled in fear and turned his face away
"What he said is true, so please don't be angry" A voice came from the king's side but not by a king but by his wife Iwamoto Aoi (the person he has met before)
At her side, Hana or Anzai Hana was also there and her hands were on the grip of her sword, as she knew very well, just how strong Gildart is and during that raid, it clear as day that he is undefeatable and that's the reason why she is still alive
Aoi, while talking to Gildart also was a bit worried due to the words which were said by Hana in past
In the past, during the time she was bandaged around her body and Gildart carried her back to the palace
She said to her Queen "Aoi Sama, I think he is from the divine race"
A race which we all have heard a lot of time but we don't know who they really are or just how strong they are
<Present Time>
Gildart smiled at her (Iwamoto Aoi, the queen) words and said "Sorry but my head only goes down to those, whom I love more than my life. And also, respect is not something that you can gain from having some title. If you want me to respect you like others then you have to earn it"
Silence remained in the hall for a while
Everyone had shocked expression and one thing in their mind "Has he gone mad?"
Finally, the silence was broken by the king himself
"I have fought many battles and remained undefeatable all this time, don't you think it's something worth respect or admires?" The king asked in a cold tone to Gildart
Gildart shook his head a little and said "Don't know about respect or admire, but as far as I remember since the time I am born (in this world, not earth) there was never an enemy that could take my one single serious punch.
You know, I have never got a chance to have a serious fight where my blood boiled. It really makes me sad to be this strong"
It was clear that Gildart was mocking the King and don't give a shit about him
The king glared at Gildart and released his blood lust
*choke*
*thud*
Various guards and nobles started choking with fear and fall on the ground
"dear" 2 queens said in a unison to the King as they both were also having difficulty to breathe and same was going on with their 2 kids, son, and daughter
Hana tried her best to release her warrior energy and keep her queen safe but it wasn't enough, still, she was able to hold herself and give some room to her queen for breathing
But, the person against whom the King released his bloodlust remained so calm as if he is watching some boring show.
Gildart in his own imposing tone said "A king who doesn't care for his own people is not worth my respect"
Jurou (king) understood his words but still, he was glaring at him, as he stopped his bloodlust.
"Whatever, I'll get straight to the point. Give me your beast pets" King said to Gildart as if he is asking something that had always belonged to him
Gildart was starting to get irritated from the behavior of this king, so he replied in one word "NO"
"YOU, tell me your price," King asked in a loud tone
Again Gildart answered in one word "NO"
The king has now snapped, in an angry tone he said "Don't you think you will be punished by heavens for your arrogance?"
At this, Gildart looked around him, and then he looked at Hana (knight) then First queen and her daughter, then the king and then 2nd queen and her son
"Sorry, but I am not able to see someone who is equal, sorry not equal but not even worth my time here. Is there anyone?" Gildart said in a confused tone
It was clear that the King and Gildart will surely fight someday to every single person
"YOU" the king was about to say something but suddenly the queen, Iwamoto Aoi cut him and said
"Who do you think my husband is that you are showing such behavior? My husband is the strongest among the strongest. He is no.1, if you have so much pride in your strength then tomorrow, my husband and you shall fight in the grand arena, Are you up for it?"
Gildart was like 'When the hell did you start loving your husband so much?'
It clear to Gildart that she was trying to put him and her husband in a match and if possible, she would ask me to kill him. And for sure, he will be put behind bar for killing the king
It was clear as day to Gildart but does he care about those things? NO
With a smile, he looked at the king and asked "I would love to see if the great king of Effeneer is really that strong as people say"
The king replied "Alright then, let's see the reason why you have so much arrogance. Also, put your beast pet on the line"
Gildart agreed to the king and thus the battle between the King, a person with the strongest spirit Vs Gildart, the last warrior of Fairy Tale clan was announced throughout the kingdom
