Synopsis

At first I was about to drop this novel just by looking at its title word 'Forced'. I don't like novels in which love is forced. But still I gave it a go. And I'm so glad I did. The Female Lead of this novel cannot be more innocent and moe. Even though she is slightly socially inept, it has its own charm. I fell in love with FL in first 15 chapter. She is extremely straightforward that I like very much. There is no 'Forcing' aspect in the novel {till I've read}. It may be a compulsion in FL's heart that when she meets ML, she knows that he is the one and only for her. That's why her heart forced her to choose ML. Just give it a go for Sweet and Naive FL.
I started reading this at 3am and read the whole thing. This book is weird...scratch that. It's unusual. Most books are so predictable that I skim over most of each chapter. In this book there was something going on in every paragraph. You have to read every word because the most off-hand remarks might mean something later. The spell thing is weird, but I like their interactions. The ML isn't sexually aggressive, and he doesn't solve all of her problems. What he does is right the wrongs committed against the FL to give her a level playing field. The side stories of the Gao grandson, her Qiu classmate and her fellow math competitors are engaging and don't feel like filler. You wonder what will happen to these characters. Her parents are pretty cool, and the arc where her mom stops being bullied by her mother-in-law is very cool. I wish we didn't have to wait so long because I want to know if her thesis gets published or stolen, what becomes of her live-streaming classmate, and what will happen with Lu Chao at Old Gao's party? Pros: Sane FL FL comes across as a bit Asberger's, so her low EQ and high intelligence make sense. The ML has an agenda as he followed her from the start, but he isn't a sexual bully, nor is he the typical CEO/mobster. He doesn't have a bloody torture room in his basement and he hasn't hurt a fly as yet. The dad confronts his mean mother. The grandfather backs up the dad and declares that tormenting the FL is out. The grandmother's daughters and granddaughters are filth. The mom stands up for herself. The FL has her mom's back as she finds her feet. The WeChat group is hilarious. The evil cousin is going to end up going to a bad online college because she's an idiot and she wastes her time when she should be studying. Con: The wait for more chapters. All in all it's a good read.

Have lots of books in my library but stops at chapter 60. Please continue them!!! They are the most interesting and exciting book anyway! The beginning was interesting but after 70-80 chapters the story became boring- FL Is a Mary Sue and ML is all powerful Boss. Anything and everything that can go wrong goes wrong with FL. Everyone is jealous of her tries to create problems🙄 she Is a master of maths, literature, chemistry, coding, Painting, gaming and God knows what. People who have spent their entire lives studying these subjects can’t compare to her. I mean come on this is too much. Too much unnecessary drama😒. Superrrr boring and predictable now-Villian will create problem and FL will solve it as she is this all knowing genius 🤦🏼♀️
Love that its different from other story a been reading. The way she deals with this its just amaizing. Been intelligent and not been arrogant is one of her greatest qualities.
This needs to be picked I highly suggest!!!!!!! The female character is strong but not over bearing she is actually genius but cute!!!!!! The male lead is also very powerful....all the side characters too well written this story is true fun!!!!!!!!
I totally loved this story. The ML is so cool and always helping out the FL without her realising it. The Mom dad of the FL are also so good to her. The Mom has put in her best efforts to not let her daughter be bullied. I am so waiting for when the FL will fall for ML for real..🥰🥰🥰🥰

While I enjoyed this novel very much, I don't like the way it ended. It's as if there's a lot more to the story. There's nothing wrapping up the story properly.
THIS IS MY SECOND REVIEW, THINGS CHANGED so... I still wouldn't recommend this book(in my opinion and my tastes). I recently quitted this book, but becasue I really like the MC and ML (their personality are unique and funny because she is slow with interactions/low EQ and its funny), I decided to pick it again... but oh no, the story just became worse! So basically the more you read, the more it will get worse. I'm at chapter 700 something and I will say that... I really can't continue reading this anymore. also, the charcters and the story...ughhhh is written so badly... I'm now like, disliking all the characters, thats how bad it was designed. the writing quality is good, as for the updating stability... its one chapter everyday which is super good in my opinion if it was a novel that was updating it newest chapters, but this is not, its super behind and I would prefer to read it somewhere else ☆I will write another review that has more details and it will come with spoilers so I'm planning to divide the super important ones and not so important so people can read the super important ones and (i) won't spoil everything for you ☆

Xue Xi and General Xiang’s relationship is my favorite part of the book. no matter what obstacles they go through they always stick together.
Highly entertaining FL is insanely smart but slow to react with social things; ML is silently supporting her behind the scenes while acting as her gigolo in front of her; The FL's parents truly seem to love and want the best for her and have backbones if they need to defend her; All the side characters are adorable for the most part; The FL's younger cousins are unbearable as are their parents and her grandma; All in all, I wish I was as smart as FL and as rich as ML Would definitely be disappointed if this book isn't picked up
